Things to do this weekend in the Freeport area FROM NEWS REPORTS 1. Attend the next Music on Chicago Music on Chicago show will take place from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Freeport Art Plaza, 11-15 E. Douglas St., Freeport. The gates will open at 5 p.m. The show will feature Back Country Roads with special guest Crosscut. This is an outdoor live music concert and fundraiser for Greater Freeport Partnership. A $5 entry donation applies, but ages 5 and younger will be admitted for free.
