Tubeworker has long campaigned for our unions to fight for a four-day week. This demand is included in the RMT/TSSA/Unite pay claim for this year.
Some people say it is a pipe dream, unrealistic, utopian. But the fact is that
a four-day week is commonplace on for drivers on the mainline railway. What's good enough for the mainline should be good enough for the Tube; and what's good enough for drivers should be good enough for all grades.
