In addition to 39 kalyanis and 418 mobile immersion tankers put in place at strategic residential locations by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), citizens’ lake groups have come up with many such initiatives to ensure the city’s lakes are not polluted this Ganesha festival.
