THREE donkeys have been killed in a car crash on a New Forest road. Police were called to an incident on Roger Penny Way near the junction for Fritham where a white Mercedes van hit three small donkeys at about 7.08am on Saturday, December 12. Officers are investigating the incident and want to speak to member of the public about the incident. Korine Bishop, Hampshire Constabulary Rural Policing Inspector, said: “This was a tragic incident which resulted in the death of three New Forest donkeys. "The driver of the vehicle was spoken to at the scene by officers – with police enquiries ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
