BARROW Raiders are due to hold their own Oktoberfest soon with tickets due to go on sale tomorrow. The Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium will see Oom-pah bands, German food stalls, as well as the traditional German beer come October and the staff are hopeful to see it become a more regular fixture of the year if this one proves popular. Steve Neale, chairman of Barrow Raiders, said: "We have booked bands and some extra marquees so we will have three in total, two more than our permanent marquee. "It could be a bit wetter because we are in October but we have flooring so nobody will be stepping through mud and entertainment will be on throughout the day.
