TikTok has officially introduced text-only posts following the launch of Meta's Threads app and Twitter’s massive rebranding to X. Key details: In a news release on Monday, TikTok explained that the new feature will expand the “boundaries of content creation for everyone on TikTok, giving the written creativity we've seen in comments, captions, and videos a dedicated space to shine.” Users can add sound, enable comments, add locations and more to make their text posts “just as dynamic and interactive as any video or photo post.”
