Eric Holcomb’s mask mandate changes to a mask advisory, the Boone County Commissioners have decided to not require masks in county buildings. However, they are allowing individual offices to make their own decisions about masks. Holcomb announced the mask mandate will expire today, adding that local officials could require masks. Masks are required in all state government buildings and schools, Holcomb said. He also said that businesses could make their own decisions about masks.
