Sponseller was reported missing on Jan. 13 by his mother, Michelle Sponseller, according to a report filed with the Toledo Police Department. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's office Sponseller's body was discovered by people walking in the woods near Secor and Section Roads around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
