Tomah Health reduces visitor restrictions January 15, 2021 10:13 AM Site staff TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) — Tomah Health will allow patients at its facilities one visitor beginning Jan. 18 after two months of restrictions due to COVID-19 cases in the area. Visitors must be over age 18 and will be allowed in the hospital’s Emergency Services, Urgent Care and Surgical Services departments, as well as the Warrens Clinic. Tomah Health Chief Nursing Officer Tracy Myhre said with local numbers stabilizing and vaccinations underway, it is an “appropriate” move. She said patients hospitalized for COVID-19, or those seen in Emergency Services or Urgent Care for coronavirus symptoms, are not permitted visitors. Restrictions will remain in place for the hospital’s Specialty Clinic and Rehabilitation Services Department, which includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy services.
