Tomah Health Loosens Visitor Restrictions
After a two-month restriction on visitors due to COVID-19 cases, Tomah Health will allow patients one visitor at its facilities beginning Monday, January 18.
Tomah Health Chief Nursing Officer Tracy Myhre said patients may have one visitor, 18 years or older, in the hospital’s Emergency Services Department, Urgent Care, Surgical Department, Infusion Services and Warrens Clinic.

Myhre said patients hospitalized for COVID or those seen in Emergency or Urgent Care with coronavirus symptoms, are not permitted any visitors and restrictions will remain in place for the hospital’s Specialty Clinic and Rehabilitation Services Department.
She said facemasks are required for all visitors. ....

TOMAH, Wis. (WXOW)- After restricting visitors for two months throughout COVID-19, patients at Tomah Health will now be able to have one visitor.
The new policy, set to begin January 18, allows patients visiting the Emergency Services Department, Urgent Care, Surgical Services Department, or Warrens Clinic one visitor over the age of 18.
In addition, Tomah Health continues to permit those at the Acute Care Department, inpatient area of the hospital, and Obstetric (OB) patients having an OB ultrasound to have one visitor. The Hospice Touch and Life Choices Palliative Care facility, located at 601 Straw Street, is also set to follow this policy. ....

TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) Tomah Health will allow patients at its facilities one visitor beginning Jan. 18 after two months of restrictions due to COVID-19 cases in the area.
Visitors must be over age 18 and will be allowed in the hospital’s Emergency Services, Urgent Care and Surgical Services departments, as well as the Warrens Clinic.
Tomah Health Chief Nursing Officer Tracy Myhre said with local numbers stabilizing and vaccinations underway, it is an “appropriate” move.
She said patients hospitalized for COVID-19, or those seen in Emergency Services or Urgent Care for coronavirus symptoms, are not permitted visitors. Restrictions will remain in place for the hospital’s Specialty Clinic and Rehabilitation Services Department, which includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy services. ....
