Topeka's Burger Stand allows you to turn any burger into a salad

The restaurant, 2833 S.W. 29th St., which recently relocated to Brookwood Shopping Center from College Hill, gives its customers the option of transforming any of its delicious beef burgers, chicken or fish sandwiches into a house salad.
It's the best of both worlds, right? You can still enjoy a burger while getting in a healthy serving of greens.
We chose The Classic burger, which comes topped with Vermont cheddar, tomato and onions.
The burger arrives on top of The Burger Stand's house salad — mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, red onions and a roasted garlic herb vinaigrette.
