A young travelling couple were drenched when they stood on rocks too close to the ocean when a massive wave rolled in. The pair were exploring Dirk Hartog Island, a popular tourist haven in Shark Bay in northern Western Australia, a decided to pose for photos. 'We spotted a 20-30m cliff edge watching the waves break and thought it would be a great photo opportunity,' they explained. 'It was... except for the one rogue wave caught on camera [that] absolutely smashed us. Everyone survived except the hat.' Calm before the storm - Dani (pictured) isn't aware what is brewing behind her in the ocean in a remote part of Western Australia on Dirk Hartog Island
