Town of Windsor: internal investigation concluded, one officer terminated after traffic stop incident involving Army officer
Windsor leaders announced the Town joins state leaders in calling for Virginia State Police to conduct an independent investigation into the Dec. 5th incident.

WINDSOR, Va. — The Town of Windsor, Virginia broke its silence regarding the traffic stop incident involving two Windsor police officers and an Army Second Lieutenant. The incident occurred on Dec. 5th, 2020. 
On Sunday, William Saunders, the Town Manager of Windsor said in a statement that the Town "acknowledges the unfortunate events that transpired."
