(AP) - A network of trails in the Green Mountain National Forest will stay open this winter to give people more to do during the coronavirus pandemic, a Killington town official said. Sherburne Trails are in the Green Mountain National Forest. The town of Killington has an operating agreement with the GMNF and works with the Killington Mountain Bike Club to keep the multi-use trails maintained, the Rutland Herald reported. The trails normally shut down between December and May. The one-year trial will keep them open all winter.
