Aerial video of the scene appears to show around 30 train cars piled up with flames and a large plume of black smoke rising up from the front of the pileup. There were no immediate reports of injuries related to the derailment. Sibley, a town of about 3,000 people in Osceola County, is roughly 200 miles northwest of Des Moines.
