Training Camp Thoughts So Far By A-Mazze-Ing on Aug 2, 2021, 11:14pm EDT + So, I have been having this discussion on Twitter, but thought I would bring it here as well. So far from the preseason feed and from being there live, I have felt very under-whelmed by this "high powered offense." Yes, it is early, yes, it is week two of training camp. No, the sky is not falling, no ZT does not need to be fired. This is just my general thoughts so far. So far, our DB’s have been abusing the WR group. From last Thursday, Friday, and again today, the reports coming out is the defense is winning in the 7x7 and 11x11 matches. Many will point to this is how preseason goes, but honestly, I view this differently. Again, the sky is not falling, but I am starting to get concerned about our WR abilities to get separation. As we are all aware, separation was a major issue last year leading to a lot of batted down balls, break ups, or missed opportunities. Come 2021, we are seeing this again from the reports coming out. Personally, I think Awuzie has made it his mission to never let Chase touch that ball.
