We tried a few new things and we started off the december month trying to compete with Online Shoppers early in december, and that worked well incredibly well for us. We played an ad and had over 10,000 in just a few hours that day. That was a huge day for us. We know its a shorter season, we know its a tough season. We heard about deep discounting. Is that affecting you in some fashion . Right, for me for the smaller retailer i did my discounting earlier in the year. At this point im such a consciousbased customer, i help them find their products. We dont do deep discounting at this time because we only have a few items left of the big pieces on the shelves. I dont do a lot of matching prices at this time even though i do get those calls quite a b bit, quite frequently especially for certainly manufacturers. Today a lot of retailers when things look like theyre slowing down pull back because they dont want to end up with stuff on their shelves. But you double down. You bought more stuff. We did this year. We had never done that before. I believe it was because of the shorter buying season. There were top ten sellers in our store that we had to have for the upcoming saturday which we predict to be the largest saturday of the year. There were key items that we brought in, key items that people are calling for every day. I physically was driving to pick up items that we had to have in our store. We have the call lists and we take names, numbers, calling them as these items come in. Thats been an important advantage to me as opposed to Online Shoppers. Youre looking for a big weekend coming up. I noticed a little rain coming to your part of the world, but you live in indiana people are not affected by rain or snow. People are used to it. Thats right. Were corn fed here. Rain, sleet, theyll be out shopping. I know the numbers will be huge this weekend. Were looking for it.
