Saw it for longer than most of the other companies that had it previously so what have you got planned for next year we've caught. On the anniversary of the opening of the railway prison it was the 1st section of standard railway to be reopened so you the public so we have got a Big Lots of engines. Lots of things that we are developing. It is about at the moment 20 to come we're joined also by Julie Jones who's the general manager of the Bluebell railway line Julie how many people were killed together so we've got 60 paid up to 60 paid employees and we have up to about 700 volunteers that work here in keep the engines running and provide the say that you see how many people do you have passing along the line every year so last year we had 145000 visitors which is upon the previous year we can do a lot more than that and that's something that we're looking to do as we head across the platform here to train a platform one can you tell me a little bit about it these coaches that you seem trying to be able to in the 19 fifties and they would have run here on the stop and area and The Green Collar the British railways were subdivided into regions and we were part of the southern region this particular locomotive looks a little bit unloved it sort of only got half its from it on T.V. And needless to say lots of coverage of the red carpet and lots of reviews in the papers of the film too as well now turning our attention to the story of a teenager from the New Forest who was bullied for not fitting in but has finally found her niche 18 year old Lauren Matthews has started her own clothing and accessories range between. Carriage others to be comfortable in their own skin but the journey to acceptance for as been a long and difficult one here Lauren plexi Matthews discussed the many challenges Lauren has faced when seen as I started primary school I was and like everybody else everybody else seemed to have the social skills I didn't have with my autism so I've spent a lot of my time at school watching other people trying to learn how they are how they talk to people how they interact and I can mimic it and I always felt like I didn't quite get it right so I struggled with making and maintaining friendships I always said the wrong thing or did the wrong thing or acted the wrong way. It was really really hard as a mom I have but one memory particular of walking past her primary school at playtime and a few through the fence and Norma standing in the middle of the playground with her little cottoning with her hood tightly around her head all the children were just running and playing around and she was standing in the middle with her who always remember that image and I think that kind of summed up how she felt for a lot of her childhood. When I went to secondary school the social side of things just got a whole lot less because that was one of the social media started to come into the mix of so it was just a case of never being able to escape you know if I got rid of my phone I wouldn't be able to contact my friends who I wanted to contact if I didn't get rid of my fire and I was faced with all of these difficulties so it was just in escapable. And I just felt really rubbish about myself and about life and how worthless everything seemed to be because in my mind that was how I was going to feel fresh aside what was the point because I was at this point and I couldn't see it getting any better. Learn. Rist I think as a family we felt desperate desperate for help for ourselves and furlough or an obviously I think we felt how tough as well and so angry that our precious daughter was being made to feel worthless fairly. I was struggling a lot with Tang I was self harming and eventually went too far and I took an overdose and ended up in a hospital that was probably the lowest point of my life and that was plan the interventions came and that was when I started getting out. And joining me now the past new made that recording a plexi and of course. I'm sure poor Joe good morning and Lauren's road to recovery included include the whole family having to move from the other side of the country. Indeed and in fact one of lights at the end of the tunnel one of the 1st slots was Lauren attending broken her skull it should have just along from where I'm standing this morning on this roll the mystic New Forest day it was here that she said for the 1st time she felt included she felt understood and actually this is the college that reignited her love of learning and it just shows you how absolutely critical that school year is all in terms of picking up people who do feel isolated from that this business has grown tell us a bit more so City and which is a play on the words for the volcanic rock is all about celebrating who you all rather than sort of trying to mold yourself and spending all that energy into being something you're not it's about linking a community together who is lower would put it a daring to be different so what she does T. Shirts badges bags all sorts of things. And they have the slogans things like struggling does not equal fight fight all differences are the one thing we have in common and it's about celebrating individuality and I know she'll tell you this next hour herself but she says if it's a business like this it's been around when she was 15 when all that was going on if she could have just seen there were other people out there who felt like she did Lauren said it would have made all the different stuff more Joe thank you for that I look forward to going to Lauren from her home a little bit later on in the show just after 8 o'clock quarter past 7. Pvc radio. Still to come yes your collection of stories thank you very much indeed for your stories this morning also a very special cafe opening here in the south we hear about that with a difference coming up between now and 730 but 1st here's Judy goodness oh and Judy in the queue that's coming down the A 34. And longer if you're about to move down from the A 3 o 3 to a with when just on the A 34 you might want to consider diverting on one of the routes off it's about a 45 minute delay now coming down to junction 9 the window into change because of a broken down lorry actually on the bridge of the interchange we can just see it on the camera through the midst more traffic building up now because motorways are busy nothing unexpected there in fact nothing else unexpected apart from the mist and folks to drive us about because of that Mr Ridge final services are running with delays coming across from the island from ferry and cows the red from the red jet about 10 minutes or so not too serious with feel like a bit of a when I look at the chain ferry cows it's stopped operating it's meant to be but something's happened and they are on the able to run at the moment so we'll keep looking at the pictures but you know when they're running again. That's been a saga for the last check Oh it really has yes yeah I know it was operating earlier but now it's. Just the heads that word. But I don't know there was a variety just so there's a quite a different connect Is there a collection to be had there was here at the time there were quite a few different ferry companies and all sorts. Of them for me every now and again that's a right one so G.B. Caustic isn't putting down on the list this morning.
