north and eastwards as we head through tuesday. now, the air still cold enough across scotland as it bumps into it. we could see some snow over higher ground, some heavy rain associated with this front. and the winds will be strengthening as well, coming from a south westerly direction, a milder direction. but given all the cloud and the rain, temperatures still struggling to get much above eight or nine celsius for some and at best, around ten or 11 celsius. more to come from the atlantic. as we head through into wednesday, the isobars starting to get more tightly packed. some heavy rain developing initially across southwest england and wales and then gradually pushing its way north and eastwards through the day parts of eastern scotland, maybe northeast england, perhaps not seeing that rain until later in the day. we'll notice the change in the temperature. they'll be starting to rise. so, perhaps getting into the low or mid—teens through wednesday. thursday, the winds strengthening further and probably a day more of sunshine and showers, but those showers are likely to be heavy and potentially thundery, initially gathering in the west,
