Yes. Thats even higher than my worst night when i had covid a couple months ago. I know there are already people who believe this vaccine will give them covid. Can you educate us why that is not the case . Absolutely. The important thing for people to know is these cannot cause covid. They have nothing to do with them and how theyre made. Fevers and other signals like chills, nauseousa, fatigue, all signs that our body is learning how to fight the virus. So, you know, what i plan to tell patients is if you do experience the side effects, its a signal the vaccine is working. In most cases, the side effects are transient. I have felt perfectly fine since then. First i would say i took the vaccine myself. I trusted enough to get it. Trust can go a long ways. Second, i would say you might experience some side effects. If you do, theyre a snag that the vaccine is working. Thats a good thing, our body is learning how to fight the virus and theyll probably be transient. And also tell you when to seek medical care, the vast majority of cases, side effects are short, few, a day or so, and then back to normal. And its a small price to pay. I would say, okay, close my eyes, and hand you my arm. When do you find out if you actually received the vaccine or if it was the placebo . So thats still an open question. The trials will go on for a few more months and years. I believe that thats something thats still in the works, figuring out when is the right time to unblind folks and learn as much as we can. So i would urge people to get this vaccine if its offered to them, certainly Health Care Workers and those first in line should get it. Just last question, because i was talking to the doctor last hour, the first time i heard im thinking all right, im free and clear. Do i still have to wear a mask . Can i sit indoors where its allowed to eat dinner . But they want no, brooke, you still have to do all the things for everyone else. Where do you stand on that . Absolutely. It would take time to get this virus under control. We know its spreading quickly. Until we get to a play where the numbers are down, its important to take full precautions. But unfortunately, given the, you know, fullthroated support that now a majority of the Republican House conference with so many stay attorneys general, im concerned this will not be the end. Even if, as we expect, the Supreme Court tosses this challenge out and, you know, none of these efforts will overturn the results of this election, the concern runs deeper, that its now, you know, a majority position among one of the two Major Political parties in this country that an election is illegitimate if they dont win, even without evidence of fraud or wrongdoing. Brooke, critics have called out the doj for the volume. Five more are scheduled between now and january 20th, including another one scheduled for tonight. That in and of itself, it bucks traditi tradition, sin the past 100 years there have not been any federal executions in this time period. Notably, brooke, the Supreme Court has not scoped tepped in p any of this. Well see a flurry of challenges im sure tonight, in what has been a flurry of executions. You talk about lethal injections, isnt there discussion of returning to more archaic methods .
