He reads the polls and take the polls seriously, maybe more seriously than you and i do. Shouldnt at this point in the campaign if there are people who are saying you could possibly get our vote, youre doing it wrong, heres how it might help you, shouldnt he be open to listening to that instead of saying, no, youre wrong. If he was running a standard campaign, no. Hes not trying to get africanamericans to vote for him. He knows hes not getting the africanamerican vote. Whats he doing . Hes trying to position himself with the white voters, which he must have, he must get a biggers perce percentage of te voters. This is moderating, saying to white voters, listen, im not a bigot, im not a racist and hes appealing to independent and swing voters. When he says to africanamericans what the hell do you have to lose, their answer is almost everything. So i tried to explain that to some of the people who come on, that thats insulting to africanamericans. And as an africanamerican i see what youre saying so its like what are you doing . Why cant you just admit that . So you dont see him going to black churches or black universities or any of that at all . I dont. As sure as i say that, if he hears us saying that, he may go. But, no. Nor do i believe hes going to go to any big places for latino votes. He may make one or two stops. He knows he isnt going to get the africanamerican vote and he knows he isnt going to get very many latino votes. He cant win that way.
