This is the first National Poll in a long time that has put trump on top, short a statistical margin we dont know if others will follow and this is not something that you thought would happen again. Here we are. Hes back on top. Worried . No. You never want your candidate to be behind in a poll, but lets remember a couple of things. This race was tight in july, preconvention. What really matters is the National Average of these polls, of these National Polls and shes five point ahead there. She shes, head in the average in virtually every swing state and this weighs noncollegeeducated whites and that could be wrong and hillary has said shes going to campaign as an underdog whether shes ahead or not. Thats what shes doing and the more people see of her and the more they like it and the more theyll press her and shell win the case. Trust has not been going in that direction. When you look at married women, more than half of married women, 53 support donald trump and that is an environment where most of the coverage is donald trump and women. Well, thats where he needs to address his campaign. He has the general with him today. When i was traveling with him last week he had senator sessions talking to him about Foreign Policy and National Security so hes trying to go there, and i talked to someone from the Clinton Campaign and they just went up. With ads in georgia and arizona exactly on the point of Foreign Policy and National Security. Theyre going after the women, the suburban moms because they believe thats the one area they can attract some women because theyre worried about Donald Trumps, you know, his character, his ability to stay focused and what shes always complaining about. Do you want his hand on the the military leader with trump, and of course, this comes after you had bipartisan groups coming out and saying that theyd never vote for trump, and indictments, but now hes got 88. Is that going to help him . I think theres no question that thats the direction that he needs to move. They like some of the things that he says they cant imagein him as the president of the United States and the thing that popped to me in your poll was trump was as high as 45 and there were people that were skeptical that he was ahead of clinton at this point as john mentioned in his report and up to this point, hes been stuck in the high 30s and 40 seemed like a ceiling.
