CSPAN2 British House Of Commons Debate On Queens Speech June 22, 2017

The question is that the humble address be presented to the her majesty as follows, ms. Gracious sovereign we your majestys dutiful and loyal subjects the comments of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in parliament assembled to offer our humble thanks to your majesty for the gracious speech which her majesty has addressed to both houses of parliament. I call the leader of the opposition mr. Jeremy corbyn. Thank you mr. Speaker i buy tradition at the beginning of each parmenter seshmi, write the members we have lost in the last year. Sadly mr. Speaker this year must also mark the passing of those who were lost in horrific events in recent days and weeks. The fire at Grenfell Tower in west london has killed at least 79 people. What takes a both a tragedy and an outrage is that every single one of those deaths could have been avoided. Something has gone horrifically wrong. But community is demanding answers. Thousands of People Living in the tower walks around the country need urgent assurance Emergency Service especially Fire Rescue Services in this case deserve our deepest respect and support. I also want to pay a very warm tribute to my honorable friend from kensington who in recent days demonstrated so clearly why her local community put their faith in her, her determination to ensure that every family is rehoused locally in the exemplary work of a dedicated member of parliament and would welcome her to this house. Lessons must be learned mr. Speaker in the Public Inquiry and it is after that never should have happened has happened again. The terrorist attacks in manchester, London Bridge and then bury park finsbury tark traumatize hans of people with callous disregard for human life the attack in the early hours of monday morning in my own constituency is a reminder to us all that hate has no creed, that violence has no religion and that we must stand up to hatred whoever the target and stand together against those who would drive us apart. And last night hundreds of people assembled alongside Finsbury Park to get just that message from all communities at all faiths. Our communities and our country are strongest when we are united is there late colleague said we have far more in common than that which divides us. Its just over a year ago but joe was taken from us by someone driven by hatred. Joe was driven by love and buy an infectious energy. It was in the surge of that energy and passion for people, life injustice that so many events were held in her memory around the country last weekend including one in my constituency near the site of the violent attack that happened a day later we should remember her and thank her and make sure great gettogether events to continue year in and year out. Earlier this year mr. Speaker we also lost who served his constituents for 47 years and previously worked add deming street. Joe was my comic figure in the labour party. He came from proud jewish background and campaign to bring peace to the middle east throughout his life and was my pleasure to travel with him in the quest to many countries in the region. Though i love the many lengthy conversations we have had with them. In fact nobody ever had a short conversation. They will both be fun remembered by all that knew them and worked with them. Mr. Speaker i want to congratulate the mover and second are of the queens speech. First i do congratulate the honorable member of newbury on his speech. My mother told me of the joy of freedom because she was there and i went to visit her there had to hope that he will understand the deep love of humanity to go to green commons. Id like to thank you for taking time out from his considerable responsibilities looking after his extensive Property Portfolio and tending to his direction of the uk partnership had i hope one day a Labour Government may soon be able to come to the aid of his constituents by taking water back into the public ocean and to the aid of his tenants by ensuring the responsibility and landlords insure all homes are fit for human habitation pattern of the honorable member will continue with other interest in Parliament Interested defense in africa and i do agree when he spoke of the need for us as a country to adhere to all the agreements on Climate Change used all around the world and i thank him for that speech. I turn now to the second the honorable member spelman. His speech was particular to give it and after all he is a former winner of the university challenge. He mentioned israili and i welcome that because Benjamin Disraeli once said if i want to read a book i write one. Well mr. Speaker seems the honorable gentleman has taken it to new levels. Writing or cowriting six books during the seven years hes been a member of this house and ive been looking through the catalogue of his books and one book absolutely stands out. Its a mustread. I hope it is reprinted. It came out in 2011 and after the coalition. I dont want to cut across any of the slippery representations but maybe in the offering. I understand the latest coalition may already be in some chaos. Nothing could emphasize that chaos more than the queens speech we just heard. A government that lost its majority and apparently ran out of ideas. This would be a thin legislative program even if it was for one year but for two years, two years . Theres not enough to fill up one year. Mr. Speaker its appropriate to stop by acknowledging what is not in the speech. Firstly theres no mention of scrapping the can the Prime Minister assure us the conservative plan is no bed with strong . Neither is the any mention of ditching the triple law. Older people and their families might also be key to some clarity around the governments policy on social care. Whether its still owes originally sent out in the conservative manifesto or whether it was later amended to or there is now Something Else entirely. Im sure if its a matter of historical record but looking on the conservative web site today the manifest has been taken down in its entirety and it apparently no longer exists. The Prime Minister might also like to confirm that food is not after all going to be taken from the mouths of infants and Young School Children will continue to receive Universal School meals. Only subjects of schools mr. Speaker there is nothing about grammar schools and the speech. As the Prime Minister now agree with her predecessor that is delusional to think of a policy of expanding the number of schools is either a good idea a terrible idea or even a bright idea of tax mr. Speaker the good news may even extend to our very friends. If the Prime Minister can guarantee the barbaric practice of fox hunting will remain banned in this country. Mr. Speaker the government has recently embarked on what are likely difficult negotiations concerning brexit which the whole house will want to scrutinize. Unfortunately there have been some leaks with the other side in the process expressing dismay of the weakness of the governments negotiating skills but theres enough of that in Democratic Union party. We must get onto the crucial subject of brac said. We are leaving the European Union. The question is how and on what terms . The government could have begun negotiations on a far better footing had he granted full rights to european nationals living in this country but i hope now the minority government will indeed listen to the wisdom of this house a bit more and work in partnership with their european neighbors. Of course. I think the right honorable gentleman were repeatedly refusing to rule out the second referendum on the ieee membership rate given the brexit negotiation sacramentally take this opportunity to rollout this at random referendum now . I made it clear they would negotiate sensibly and fairly with the European Union and bring the results of the negotiations back to this house. It seems we get a brexit deal that puts jobs and the economy first. No deal is not better than a bad deal. Its a bad deal for this country we need equal access to the Single Market and the arrangement that provides britain is the brexit is essentially pledged and i quote with the exact same benefits as now. Neither must be prioritized over the jobs and Living Standards of the people of this country. Lets decide our grace and policy on the basis of the needs of our community and our economy not to the tune of dog whistles cynicism or the hate campaigns or indeed mr. Speaker the hate campaigns of some sections of our press whose idea of patcher system is to place themselves in an overseas tax havens. C thank you mr. Speaker. I think the honorable gentleman for giving way and i would like confirm the contradiction where he plans not to reduce immigration numbers yet also employers recruiting overseas. Is it not the right honorable gentleman a bit. Mr. Speaker we made it very clear throughout the Election Campaign and before that those employers who unscrupulously recruit lope pay workers exploit them in this country and run away with the profits at the same time as creating Community Discourse are making money or power Verdant Court split exploiting Vulnerable People on both sides. What is a labors position on the Single Market . Again mr. Speaker our position has been absolutely clear. Our position is we need free access to the european markets protecting jobs in this country and thats a little bit less from the other side of turning britain itself into a tax haven which would bring jobs and Public Services here. We do not yet know the official cycle of the governments much trump great repeal bill but if we are talking about taking back control than then all of us must be able to scrutinize legislation. Thankfully mr. Speaker this gracious speech allows plenty of time for debating greater scrutiny. That must include ensuring that the human rights act and our commitment to the European Convention on human rights and the human rights of everyone in this country remain completely and totally intact and we will ensure that our determination by working with both administrations responsibility such as agriculture and fisheries will be devolved to those administrations and not and on the subject of administrations i also wish the Prime Minister of a success and reconvening talks with all parties to restore the assembly in belfast as soon as possible. We also very much hope that any done deal but the dup of misplaced prospects the overriding priority of the agreement to maintain peace in Northern Ireland. Mr. Speaker the spanish head of state was announced in july but can the premise or update the house and whether she can still ensure a visit anytime this year or anytime in the future . Just a question. Mr. Speaker as i said earlier, as i said earlier, as i said earlier, mr. Speaker as i said earlier Public Service workers such as Fire Service Police receive huge praise when they respond to terrorist attacks and other major incidents but its not good enough tube be grateful to Public Service workers only at the time of crisis and disaster brigade deserve the dignity of fully funded services and not seeing their jobs cut. There are now 20,000 fewer than in the conservatives came into office. And when the police, and mr. Speaker when the police raised the subject with the then home secretary do you know what . She accused the waist up the search of crying wolf. I hope the current Prime Minister will of the former home secretary. The speech promises them all to powers they need but while the police and Security Services deserve in the public demands that they will have all the resources. Order, order. Its manifestly clear that at the moment the leader is not giving way. Jeremy corbyn. Thank you mr. Speaker. Because of what was briefed to the meeting yesterday about scrapping the changes of the Police Funding formula they will only move funding. As though only move funding between urban forces when the real issue, the real issue mr. Speaker is the 2. 3 Million Pounds cut that is then made in the budget of the past five years. Mr. Speaker our firefighters did an outstanding job at the grenfell fire working incredibly long shifts in part because there are 600 fewer firefighters in london, 10 fewer in london cuts followed through by the previous mayor of london and talking to those firefighters mr. Speaker exhausted from their work in going into burning buildings to see people i said why do you come here with when you know is a difficult . Because we are firefighters. Thats what we are trying to do and thats why we serve the public the way we do. We need to have greater security for all of them the future. After properly fund our fire service is not just at a time of crisis. I welcome the fact theres a Public Inquiry going on into grenfell but cant we its kind it to install sprinklers in all town blocks but with minimal Safety Services cannot so will the government make available emergency funds to restore sprinklers . The government should commit to Public Safety bill in the recommendations the 2013 inquiries and the fire at lacma house and removed her car and to install sprinklers and new school buildings. It could still do so and it would do so additional to any other recommendations that come from the grenfell fire inquiry. We have 116 and my constituency. The moment only eight would have sprinklers. It will cost 30 Million Pounds per sprinklers and all of them. Will he urge me in advising money for all local authorities . I absolutely think i friend for that intervention and indeed during the discussion we have last week in mint Westminster Hall raises very good point. I dont suppose many members of this house live in tower blocks but just think for a moment that the sense here that so many people had when they saw that luck omar house fire. Knowing that no helicopters can land and they are waiting to get out of for the buyer to be contained. Local authorities that have seen massive cuts in the budget over the past year need the resources now to restore the necessary sprinkler systems and Fire Prevention systems and cant use the excuse that money isnt there. The money has got to be there to ensure we save lives in the future. We will support the government if it is able to bring that forward. For the last time i will give way and then i must move on. I want to thank him for visiting the area and for making this an absolute priority. Will he assure that he and the government that Disaster Relief and pursuing this issue over the safety is made the absolute number one priority . I think him for the support he is given to me in kensington and the work thats been done there. Because of whats happening at Grenfell Tower is terrifying for all of those they are and i have to say the problems that have been sued since then indicates what happens when you have local authorities ending to the bone and local authorities. When he properly funded good quality Public Services in this country. The Prime Minister says the Legal Support will be made available to the families affected by the Grenfell Tower fire but they should have access to legal aid beforehand. When they are raising the desperate concerns about fire safety they were ignored and again ignored by the conservative controlled local authority. The veterans of the Health Program must be urged we cant have Council Housing and social housing on the chief enemy cannot have Public Services on the cheap. We have to invest in them so will the Prime Minister now hold the cuts to the police and the former commissioner. This recall and absurdity. These cuts have affected our prisons to mr. Speaker. Our chief of prisons has expressed his concern and a lack of persons and a bill that could have implemented our election manifesto to employ another 3000 prison officers. Our childrens schools are facing budget cuts. Can the Prime Minister confirm that the cuts per pupil funding are going ahead and take clarify the status of the National Funding formula . Head teachers and teachers are going through incredible stress with oversize classes and the difficulties of maintaining employment were teachers. The speech mentioned legislation to protect victims of Domestic Violence but does that also include restoring legal aid in such cases or restoring the funding to reopen the many refugees that have been closed. We welcome the form of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in parliament assembled to offer our humble thanks to your majesty for the gracious speech which her majesty has addressed to both houses of parliament. I call the leader of the opposition mr. Jeremy corbyn. Thank you mr. Speaker i buy tradition at the beginning of each parmenter seshmi, write the members we have lost in the last year. Sadly mr. We welcome the form of Mental Health legislation to give it greater parity and we welcome an assurance that no Mental Health trust will see budget cuts this year like 40 of them did last year. Will she call for the Public Service which called time on the pay which means our nurses are working worse off today than they were seven years ago. As the Prime Minister is where some nurses and others have been forced to resort to food banks. Rising the 6 million workers having left them living with the millions of people subject to benefit freeze and a 5. 5 million Public Service we owe them a lot better deal. State labor one almost 13 million votes in the election. That was because mr. Speaker we offered hope and opportunity for all and a real change to our country. The Prime Minister began the Election Campaign saying if i lose 60 a will lose this election. When she came to it she lost more than four times as many seats to labor alone. Regardless of from stockton to kensington people chose hope over fear and they sent and it unequivocal message mr. Speaker that it must be brought to an end. Our conservative role has left wages falling inflation rising personal debt rising and the economy by no stretch of the imagination could any of that be described as strong more stable. Im giving way to three members on the side and three members on that site so i will conclude my speech. Thank you. If you want to boost pay the most respected means is through strong and independent trade duty. Workers collectively defending and improving their conditions so we could strength collective bargaining. People have shown they believe they are in a better way. In recent years this government has thrown away tens of billions of pounds in tax giveaways to the very richest and at the very same time, the very same time closing libraries and our National Health service into record deficit. On the conserver to roll School Budgets have been cut colleges close students being saddled with a lifetime of debt and probation funding and the nhs for the first time in history. The policies set out the different parts which caught the imagination of millions. A way for the public really to take back control of your utilities and our roadways taken the two proper ownership and not to pay the dividends of the few. We would and austerity mr. Speaker by making different choices, by asking the highest 5 of earners to pay a little bit more while still keeping the top 10 Percentage Points for most of margaret thatchers time in office. By asking them to pay more and tax while still retaining a Lower Corporation tax rate than any other g7 country. Austerity and inequality are choices. They are not necessities. They are not unfortunate they are a choice. They are a choice to make life worse for the many to maintain the privilege of a few. If this government rejects austerity challenges inequality and rebalances our economy than he would have our support but he continues down this path of deliberately making people worse off of deepening division, of deepening division and of neglecting communities that deserve support and respect then we will oppose them every step of the way. Mr. Speaker this is a government government [laughter] i will continue. Thank you mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker this is a government without a majority without a mandate without a serious legislative program and struggling even today put together a deal to stay in office. Request a point of order. Lets hear it the point of order. Mr. Speaker the members can be somewhat disappointed that the leader of the opposition is is. All i will say to the right honorable lady is im touched by your faith in my ability or her assessment of the extent of my powers. Disappointment may be very regretful but its not a matter of the chair. Mr. Jeremy corbyn. Mr. Speaker. Thank you mr. Speaker. Further to that point of order to right honorable gentleman said about 10 minutes ago in conclusion time has passed. He may be in danger of inadvertently having misled the house and i thought you want to take the opportunity to set this right. Some made people may think the honorable gentleman is festive he is. You pay your money and you take your choice that there is no disorder here that would itself be disorderly. The honorable gentleman of both people wouldnt want to stray into such misdemeanor. Mr. Jeremy corbyn. Just for the record ive given way six times in this debate so you will have plenty of time to make your point during the debate. Mr. Speaker we will use every opportunity to vote down government policy that has failed to win public support. We will use every opportunity to win support for our program. Labor is not really an opposition. We are a government in waiting. Mr. Speaker with a policy program that includes and engages millions of people, many for the First Time Ever in their political lives. We are ready to offer strong and stable leadership. In the interest of the many and of the few luvall test each others brexit strategies and what legislation comes forward against those standards. Mr. Speaker this will engage more people than a generation. Trippi turned democracy. Labor set out a vision of what this country could be, what it could he. The good be more equal. It could need more prosperous. It could have opportunities for all but its what we on this side will be putting forward. What well be fighting for in this parliament, what we will be demanding in this parliament. The people of this country deserve Something Better when they have so many problems they want and demand from this parliament. We will engage fully and make the case for a prosperous more stable mark cohesive society. Thank you mr. Speaker. [applause] i call the Prime Minister. Mr. Speaker, mr. Speaker first of all i am sure the whole house will want to join me in sending our very best wishes to her highness following the news hes been admitted to hospital. Our thoughts are with the queen and the whole royal family and we wish him a full and speedy recovery. Must be the same whoever is responsible. And this speech takes important steps in helping us to do so. They have all the powers they need and custodial sentences. We will reach agreements to prevent the threat of extremism and planning and encouraged companies to do more to remove the content from the network and establish a commission for countering extremism to help fight hatred and extremism in the same way we fought racism because it is every bit as destructive to the values and we will defeat it. Our response must be to stand together to show hatred and evil of this kind will never succeed of our values and way of life will always prevail. We need to work with communities and engage with communities. They should play a leadership role in ensuring that we reject once and for all terrorism. Terrorism. The right honorable gentleman is right. They are coming together and i saw in the jewish and Christian Community coming together with what is to drive extremism and hatred out of our society. The first time we come together after the bridge countering extremism and terrorism must be a priority while she joined m join me in cn all members of the house to give security agencies the tools theyve asked for so they can do the job properly. Im grateful to my friend did i mention that hes made and i would hope given. They bring forth to do just th that. To accept the decision was a mistake worksheet review it and strengthen the powers of the police and Intelligence Service at a task they have to do. If the powethe power that we ind when i was secretary and our intelligence and security agencies have the power they need and its now a now in incrg the tempo over the taxing the planning and remember we have seen these terrible attacks that have taken place over the same time your code others have been foiled by the services that shows the increasing scale of the tempo and its in that context that we need to look at the power to ensure they have the powers they need and i look forward to the gentleman joining us. I would also like to say a few words about the disaster. The impact is also between the police and community. Looking to reverse the cut to make sure we have that connection when there is greater demands and we need greater reassurance. It we are also protecting the Police Budget which of course is different to the views put forth and now they say the police could take 10 . I would like to say a word about the loss of life and devastation that we have seen. Im sure the whole house will join me in sharing our deep condolences to all of those that lost loved ones and we think of those that survived lost everything. She lost absolutely everything. Let me be clear for support on the ground for families in the initial hours wasnt good enough and people left without belongings were basic information of what should have been and where they could seek help. As the Prime Minister, i apologize and take the responsibility to put things right. Thats why each is receiving a down payment for food, clothes and other essentials. There will also be amended and inquiry to get to the truth about what happened and who was responsible and provide justice for the victims and the families that suffered so terribly. Surviving the families will be the terms of reference and those affected will have their legal costs paid. They havent been able to scope with the tragedy and we will develop a new strategy that could include a civil Disaster Response task force to help during times of emergency and finally we must learn that some of the lessons where the families havent had the support they need. Ive estimated 8 in respect to the other cities that have lost 45 of their funding that includes responsibilities for environMental Health. They will be fully funded. We share a desire to ensure people are safe and have the confidence of being safe in their homes. To respect the tower blocks we do not yet know the absolute cause a. The regulation in play if there are requirements to change that. Theres a number of investigations and they have the criminal investigation. They are investigating the exact cause so that any action that is required is a result of that. The independent public advocate and strong voice putting them in the public and very. Let me join in paying tribute to the members of the parliament of lost in the course of the year. For an incredible 46 years we didnt agree on everything but he was an invaluable source and he will be greatly missed. He was a humanitarian and her killer thought instead to spread hate this last weekend as a part of the great gettogether, ie and hundreds of thousands im sure members of the house in her honor came together, stood together all across the country during the unite against hatred. Paying tribute to the courage and strength in dealing with such personal tragedy. Hope will always triumph over hate. Indeed the speech of mine right honorable friend from my point of view a little too witty. But i have to say my honorable friend over the years hes been a member show a great commitment for a fair society and i know the work that hes done to raise an issue im concerned about. [cheering] my right honorable friend welcoming the honorable member to raise an is because this was by a conservative. [laughter] my right honorable friend shows tenacity over the years in the policy it started as a minority supporting the reform agenda. He was also the minister moving the waterways. The speech was brilliant. As the leader of opposition pointed out and my honorable friend has a particular interest in female Prime Ministers and members may know the recent book profiles the testing six months for the first female Prime Minister it ran 272 pages. The next one will be somewhat longer. [laughter] also widely regarded for his good looks [laughter] the 1995 theme which my honorable friend was a member. I couldnt disagree more. It was a tremendous speech. He brings wisdom and will make a contribution in the years ahead. Let me welcome the honorable member as the new leader and im also pleased to welcome to the been shut turnout was higher than 2015. We would have preferred more of them going to the ballot box. But he als they also welcomed tt honorable member as the leader of the opposition he became a good second. [applause] celebrating her triumphs i couldnt help but notice thinking back to when i was at school and then they think as she shrunk or grown. Normally there is a response. [inaudible] y. Increasing to show the vote. But democracy is a fair and free and we are introducing requirements for people to provide them a. It also shows it is divided. We will do what is in the National Interest. I think my honorable friend and reflect the outcome of the Racial Disparity which we introduced when i became a minister last year and its important that we test for this happening in relation to the services. I took action because i thought it was important because of the color of her skin and theres other issues we addressed previously. The Racial Disparity will show us what is happening in our Public Services and we will be able to act on that. We will work every day and that is what this is all about. It is about building a special partnership because we are not leaving europe and its about seizing the moment to deliver a plan by strengthening the economy and promoting opportunity and aspirations for all. As a justifiewas a justified exe country doesnt work the way that it should and it begins by putting fairness of the heart. Has been a longstanding campaign and the truth is there are many people across the country today not getting the care that they need including many children spending too long to get the appropriate treatment. They minister tells us what shes going to do a into actual action on medical health. I commend my honorable friend who said being a champion of this issue has done important work on it there is a member of things the government wants to do one is putting in place new Mental Health that we will consult widely on that. I also want to ensure that every school is a primary secondary school to have a member that is trained to identify Mental Health problems and knows how to deal with those issues. I was very struck when i met the young minds a couple weeks ago at the issue of raising awareness with Mental Health problems particularly among younger people and the better we can deal with them and did a better life we can ensure with the people with these mental problems, so those are some of the issues we will be putting into place but ensuring that we are doing does indeed address the issues we need to address. I will give way to the gentle lady. [inaudible] but not this one single one of the greatest challenge we face [inaudible] a significant amount protects environmental matters and those issues are mr. Speaker, my party was elected to represent the constituents that elected us here. Is it parliamentary for the lady to describe us in the terms that she did which i regret. She doesnt understand the policy that my party has and she should go and read our manifesto but we have the right to speak for the people. They need to say things in response to the sincere point of order from the gentlemen. First the use of the word in question is not in Parliamentary Committee does it matter if the desirability or otherwise into second, i know the character and i would simply say that the word in question refers to a species that survived for many years. Building the economy, sharing the benefits to improve the quality of peoples lives so they see their wages go up as the economy strengthens and every child has access to a good school place creating a worldclass system. The Technical Education for the skills they need for the jobs of the future. Must deliver a 250,000 which is a much more ambitious commitme commitment. The next sentence i was going to say is tackling the housing crisis we do recognize the significance in this country it is about building more houses and also a bout keeping things going that help people get on the housing ladder into seeing the diversity in the Market Square they shared a whole variety of opportunities for young people and we will be taxing it on Mental Health, sexuality, faith, disability, gender or race. [inaudible] when she hasnt been able to negotiate the deal with ten members of this house in the time before. Can i thank you for giving me the opportunity to welcome the work the honorable member did. Im undertaken in preparing on monday of this week i am also grateful that the talks have not started. The ability of those people that come to live and work in the uk and the citizens working within the other 27 countries is going to be vitally important. They will be waiting to learn of their future and to guarantee to the house as quickly as possible, no waiting until the discussions are finished in order to give them the assurance they would be able to live and remain where they live and work. We always said we want to address an issue that an urgent stage and this is one of the issues that will be addressed in the negotiation and i will make every effort and will guarantee to my honorable friend i expect to be able to come to the house to show the opportunities the United Kingdom will be setting up and we want to see the union being treated fairly as well. But we will soon be sending out our offer. The speeches being given today. Given that she asked for a personal matter the only question is why is she still here. [inaudible conversations] 800,000 more than the other party [inaudible] i will not have the Prime Minister or thprimeminister or e opposition of any member of this house shouted down. Im sure you mean well but they dont require your assistance. We are doing what is in the National Interest to address the challenges that face the country at the moment. Its important that we have the government commended for the National Interest. They mention making the markets work better for everybody. She knows the support in this house and the measures can she convert the 1700 customers. We want to ensure we get the best measure in place to measu measure. Talk to the National Interest it does require the engagement to drive terrorism we need to deal with the extremism and hatred and thats why the countering extremism is so important and i hope it is a measure that can be supported across all parts of the house. [inaudible] [applause] we also want to build a more secure United Kingdom for the National Security and enhancing our leading role on the stage, strengthening the economic and cultural bond between england, Northern Ireland, scotland and wales by working on cooperation with all of the administrations in working with old to support the government, building a country that is stronger, safer, more secure and that works for everyone. A deal that works for every perk of the country and finds public support the partys campaign on the manifesto that says we should unload the decision of the people and see it through as we take the bills through this house which would include the repeals built and also dealing with the control of access with a new bill on agriculture. If we are going to grasp the opportunity we need to build a stronger economy. Weve always understood sound money and a fiscal credibility. The financial crash has paid off, the deficit is down by three quarters, employment is up by 2. 9 million. Having the National Minimum wage and taking 4 million altogether in equality and reducing for 30 years so we will continue to improve the public finances and work at the country back and create jobs by continuing to cut Corporation Tax is because that is how you raise more money. Does the minister recognized the divulging of the changing because the governor is committed to securing the rights for people in the colonies were on different contracts. We have a report on the changing workplace. As i said in the past few weeks we will enhance the right. [inaudible] others such as investment to make sure the whole country benefit. Its good to see my friend in his place and we will put the legislation through to the next stage and continue as my honorable friend of said Infrastructure Project succumbed to country but what i want to see is a country that works for every part of the united kingd kingdom. What she was saying about the entire kingdom [inaudible] dot as a matter that is still being carried out here and there is the possibility of being considered between westminster and the scottish government. Ive taken over a number of intentions and i will make progress so other members are able to write. It would be changing the economy and what we want to do is follow because theres nothing that leads to fewer jobs for hardworking families and theres nothing about racking up for our children and grandchildren. The only government you can trust is a can with a. The speech will help to do that but they will also appeal with some of these injustices in the society, the Domestic Violence under the legislation. This is a measure for many years to support this legislation. Can she reassured . People ought to look at the victim and if there were children in the house at not just a question if they have seen what is happening, they know what is happening and are affected by it. I will give way one more time. [inaudible] will she take the opportunity now [inaudible] i will speak to the secretaries of state and health and theres other ways of dealing with this issue. We are building opportunities and aspirations and we will deliver a more secure kingdom to prioritized the defense and National Security. It will give the proper respect they deserve. That means the country maintains as the ultimate guarantee of the safety and feminist or who is prepared to use it to tackle the change and alleviate policy and modern slavery. I am able to say this is a conclusion. Its been a difficult time, mr. Speaker this has been a difficult time for the country and i know there are many things that worry about the world their children are growing up. Its been a time that has tested our country but we are a resilience country and it must be compassion, unity, resolve for we are a great nation and a great people. We can and will grow stronger from the challenges we face today. It will not solve every challenge the country faces. Not every problem can be solved by an act of parliament but it is a step forward to building a compassionate and confident nation. I commended the queens speech to the house. [inaudible conversations] the annual growth of both reading is full featuring presentations about the politics and authors include steve and his book countdown to pearl harbor for 12 days to the atta attack. Elliott and Eleanor Roosevelt story of a fought for and water and catherine spent in her book. Joseph and his book the final battle the last months of roosevelt. Then 8 p. M.
