Everybody is doing well because of me, but theyre doing less well by fox by a lot. But like a lot and i think ms, which is also very fake, but ms is doing better. So, i love the media, i think the media is great and if i do something bad, treat me badly. But they dont tell it like it is. And even on the hundred days, not to make a big deal out of it youre going to see a lot of great things happen for the next hundred days, but weve done a lot. When you look i saw somebody the other day saying he did no legislation, i do 28 bills, through congress. I signed 28 bills that went through congress. Now, anybody sitting there and the nice part about me having a sort of a big voice, doing shows like yours and other shows, i can tell, we did 28 bill signings, legislation through congress and this reporter was saying i did none. You know, so, its fake, its lies and ill tell even the other night you saw i mentioned a couple of things about the fake media, the crowds went crazy and looking at cnn in take, they treat me falsely. Its false, just false reporting, its fake. When i think so this are fake, i like to at least bring it out. Eric so, what price are americans paying now that theres no trust between the president and the media . Hi, everyone, im eric bolling, welcome to cashin in. Well hear a lot from the president throughout the show. Our cashin in crew, mercedes, rachel and richard fowler. Mercedes is President Trump right, is the media out of control with fake news . Its interesting that the president said theres no trust between himself and the media. But its also, where there is no trust is between the American People and the media. I mean, when you look the a the fact that americans, less than 20 actually trust the media, i think its very telling of the fact that theres a lot of questions that surround what the Mainstream Media is pushing forward. I mean, weve seen these ridiculous stories coming out, of, for example, msnbc, one of the hosts trying to say that President Trump bombed syria because they were trying to get off of this russian story. I mean, the conspiracy theories. Its the fact that theyre not necessarily reporting the news as it is. And in an objective way and i think thats frustrating. The social media, the domino effect, the stories that they launch out from the Mainstream Press with a very liberal bias and then youre talking about tens of thousands of retweets and facebook postings and it becomes viral. So, they could have a story thats incorrect and fake, as President Trump would say and then it goes out as being a true story. Eric right, one of the stories later this week, when that Health Care Bill was passed through congress and President Trump, you know, he took a victory lap. Lets be honest, he went to the rose garden and said, look, lets get this through. The media took him to task for it, saying, hey, they shouldnt have gone to the rose garden until the bill hgone through and signed by the president and last 105 days and they blast President Trump not getting that signed through the house only. It drives them crazy they cant run the narrative for him, that he actually gets to do what he wants, that he says, come on over to the rose garden, were going to celebrate this thing. Here is the deal, these congressman are going to have to go back to the district and defend the Health Care Bill. And what theyve done with their bias, the media, theyve given republicans a fair shot explaining this and whats going to happen in the senate to the American People. Right now the American People dont trust the media and trust what theyre saying and i think that fairminded americans are going to give a fair hearing. They are disgusted and conservatives have always known that the media was biased, but now Everybody Knows because their hysteria is on full, naked, ugly display. And richard, the Mainstream Media has banned through the inauguration, through now when the guy signs a massive piece of legislation, and then he got it signed and then whats the ments and hes a media manipulator. They covered is rallies, wall to wall, no other candidate got that coverage in the republican runup to picking the nominee. Number two, you have to separate personalities and opinion from actual news. So the hardworking journalists at other networks, like at fox, do their job and get them. There are opinionators. And theyre richard, would you call Chris Matthew a hard working journalist or an opinionater. Hes an opinionater, and Rachel Maddow i think he would call himself a journalist. He makes an upon. What about jorge ramos, chris cuomo, everybody else at cnn. Theyre opinionaters, too. Jorge romos is at univision and he reports the news to his community. No, no. Thats a joke. Here in lies the problem. Donald trump over and over again has made the media his enemy. At his rallies the crowd openly boo the media over and over again. Richard, richard. And at msnbc and univision is not fake news. For too long the republicans allowed the media to develop the narrative. Republicans and past president s one who i worked for were not ones to confront the media and push back on a lot of these stories. I am relieved as a republican for President Trump to speak up against the media and layout the truth, the fact theres a strong liberal bias in majority of Mainstream Media. When you look at journalist for the most part only 7 of journalists who are republicans. Eric i want to stay on specifically what donald trump told me in that sitdown interview when he pointed out c. In n and msnbc. Look, fox news ratings are up since President Trump and msnbc, but im not taking a shot. If you look at cnn and msnbc, are there any hosts, not guests who come on and talk or contributors, but hosts who sit in the seat every night making opinions or journalists who are pro trump . Ill tell you uneically here there are people who would fit the opposite not necessarily pro trump on the other side of that at this network. You have both side at this network. Tell me one at those networks is pro trump. And the objective is not to be pro trump opinion people, too. Theres a distinction, theres a im asking you to say one name. Pick a name. I could give you the name of jake tapper, a respected journalist. Amg. And he covers the fact. I will not give you credit of jake tapper. Eric jake tapper is an amazing journalist and not a pro trump voice. Hes not supposed to be hes supposed to be a journalist. ,. Eric im asking you to give me a pro trump voice. Journalists arent supposed to be pro or antitrump supposed to report the facts as they have it and look at any jake tapper how about john lennon richard, theyve been out to get donald trump and they have made it a point to not even give like a honeymoon period to President Trump, and instead, goes straight to what richard said, the American People weighed in anyway. Eric right. In the budget. Were keeping it going and the wall is happening. The wall is happening. Eric so some people on the conservative right are saying, well, theres some funding for planned parenthood in this continuing resolution thats going to fund the government through september. Continuance. I said i wouldnt Fund Planned Parenthood and at the appropriate time things will happen. Let me talk about the wall because its important. So the wall is going to get built, but weve had such success, general kelly has been unbelievable and now weve stopped 73 , the highest in the history since theyve been recording this stuff and now its better because people arent trying to come up. So were saving a lot of lives because that migration was horrible and horrible for women, just so bad for women, the migration up to our border. It was so dangerous. Now, weve been so successful, that the democrats are saying, well, you dont need a wall anymore, look at the good job trump is doing and i understand what theyre saying except for one thing, to stop drugs, to stop Human Trafficking, which is the new big, you know, people dont talk about that, they are just starting because what im saying because im talking about it, Human Trafficking is it a tremendous problem. To stop all of these things including illegals from coming into the country. We need the wall. We need it for the drugs. We need it for the Human Trafficking. Eric rachel, the president says hes going to build a wall. Are you are you going to pay for it . Well, we are going to pay for it. Its going to happen. Theres an infrastructure bill coming up, maybe theres going to be money in here. But, i think the important thing here is this is another media out of touch moment, eric. The American People are ecstatic. Border crossings are down illegal border crossings down 70 . Thats the story. Imagine if barack obama had had that kind of success . Thats the story. Good on trump for bringing up all the other things that the media doesnt cover, all the children, and the women that have been hurt, murdered, raped, coming up the border. Thats also stopping. The media is so terribly biased on this, thats the story and if donald trump doesnt tell it, no ones going to hear it, although the American People got it. Eric 72 border crossings down, thats great the only problem with that its the other 28 . Rachel makes a good point. You know what a wall is . A wall is a massive structure program. If youre a democrat and you want the trillion dollar infrastructure maybe youre okay with a few bill for a wall. The democrats dont want the wall, end of story. They want the infrastructure that money to go to roads and bridges. For the democrats, its more about the open border mentality. But i have to say, eric, i mean, there are ways to pay for this wall. One is through seize assets from drug lords. I know senator ted cruz introduced the el chapo act. If they would seize these up to 14 billion. We just saw the Justice Department come out with the study and audit in 2015, showing that these seized assets were 8. 5 billion. There is money there to fund the wall. The question, do the republicans and g. O. P. Leadership have an appetite to fight for this border . And i think thats going to have to the lead is going to have to come from the white house and ensuring that speaker ryan makes it a priority to put funding in for the border wall. It will be a fight in congress. Eric richard, will you be okay that the funding didnt come from the American People to keep our border secure . This is comedy at best. Comedy. This is another example of donald trump failing on a Campaign Promise. Eric wait a minute, so far hes promised to roll back regulations and repeal and replace obamacare. And listen, listen. Eric the Supreme Court act, and hes done. Dont change the subject. Eric you just said that he failed on a Campaign Promise. Go for it. A Campaign Promise for 18 months we are going to build the wall. Eric and he is. And mexico is going to pay for it. Eric and they will. No, and. Eric sure, they will. When, when, how, how . There are so many ways to make mexico pay for it, outline one with a mexican drug lord seized assets will pay for one. Good luck, god speed. Why arent he getting credit from you. Because i said wait a minute, no, no, let me finish this. Illegal border crossings down 70 without spending a dollar, without laying down a brick . That ought to make you hoip. Ill tell you why. And wait, wait, by the way, richard, mercy says that the democrats care about open border and dont care about the infrastructure project. Not true. Wrong, blue collar democrats in the district where i live are happy about the infrastructure programs and also about the border crossings being let me make a couple of points. He wont have a problem with that, but the hawks he proposed a bank which is nowhere near a trillion dollars and republicans opposed it vehemently. Its a flipflop. If they do that. The fiscal hawks may have a problem with the trillion dollar infrastructure. Richard is wrong. Im wrong . Pull the vote, mercedes. Eric let her finish. Its how the bill is presented. The republicans are moving forward with what will probably be federal tax credits in this bill, as well as publicprivate partnerships. Guess what the democrats want . The democrats want direct federal spending. Its about how this bill is going to work itself out. And the democrats have been very cautious and very hesitant. They dont necessarily say theyre going to support the bill, the liberal democrats because they want direct federal spending as opposed to how President Trump and the republicans are laying out the plan. Eric let me get rachel in here. The president indicated may be he would be willing for publicpartnerships involved to help defray the cross. I disagree with mercy and with richard. What the republican are opposed to, are fake shovel ready jobs. This is the builder in chief. He will get it done. Democrats want it and the base does. Lib the leadership is obstructionist and the base they need to win over, the ones they lost in the election, they want energy, they want coal, they want the pipeline, and what i see happening here is the ultimate political try angulation.
