He actually reaches, you know, over and grabs someone like pence who is a tough guy and hes tough on policy, he is, you know, less government, low taxes, really a great choice showing that trump can chose someone like this is an example on how trump is going to govern and people that dont know how hes going to govern and dont know who he is going to pick in his cabinet, now they can see it and this was a smart choice and i think that it will losen some of the donors to give money and vote for him. Charles you know, richard, i know you sort of took the shot at governor pence, but again, thinking of all the possible folks who were pounded as potential vps, to me this is the one that mitigates a lot of the arguments. I think they are trying to make this a personal message. You see signs of the economy improving but you talk to voters who are feeling differences when it comes to their personal economic security. So thats kind of a message that republicans have been trying to tap into, of course, the theme of the previous night was the american economy, but the messages were really focused against Hillary Clinton. We didnt hear much from republicans in terms how they would, you know, policy specific, how they would get the economy going again. I talked to some strategists that say after the convention, one they hold party unity achieved, specifics on policy, typically Campaign Start to announce, you know, economic teams, for example, delegate those tasks and messaging.
