Fairgrounds. Well have speeches and behind us the former vicepresident of the United States. Mike pence is the only one riding in the event with senator joni ernst. Pence is going to announce hes running for president in iowa next week according to sources familiar with the matter. A number of different bikes and got a couple of supporters here talking to us. Theyre going to be several, several candidates speaking later today at the Iowa Fairgrounds. Youll have Florida Governor ron desantis, former u. N. Ambassador nikki haley, others like and weve got all the bikes lined up with Senators Ernst who will be riding and pence walked up and switched out for a leather vest. Theyll move on from here, a day of barbecue and speeches up there. This has been a pretty busy week and several candidates have been here and desantis kicked off his campaign here. Former President Donald Trump was here, held a rally and had that town hall with sean hannity and theyve been going at each other, only intensified since desantis got in the race, fighting over whether desantis saying you need to have a president elected who could have two straight terms and trump would be one. And hes arguing only six months what you need to do if he were to be reelected. That back and forth and a number of candidates are trying to get into the race and boost into the top two in the polls, but right now youve really got to Focus On Trump and desantis who have been going at it and plenty of folks taking that ride today and over to the Iowa Fairgrounds where it happens, neil. Neil i would pay good money to see you on one of the harleys and reporting live talking to the candidates. At least 5. Okay. Neil youre on, all right. Youre a cheap date. Rich, thank you very much, i look forward to that. Great reporting from our National Correspondent in des moines, iowa. I dont know if Chris Christie is going to make this event, but i know hes getting a disproportionate of nasty press, fat chance that the former new jersey governor gets a fair break. I dont know why people are doing it. Theyre at 1 , some at zero and i hear Chris Christie is coming in, hes at he was at 6 in new jersey, which is, i love new jersey, but 6 Approval Rating in new jersey. Whats the purpose . All right, probably doesnt help matters any that Chris Christie will likely be the attack dog going after donald trump, but its not just Ch Chrissie Christie is on the polls. But when he was running for governor, who could forget the ads once again and again and even cover stories at the time alluded to that, is that fair game and could people like Winston Churchill survive that today or even grover cleveland, a big president by the way, last to serve two terms not concurrently, something that donald trump wants to try. The messenger, political reporter maggie, i could go on and on, even this week with roger stone, obviously a confidante of donald trump and donald trump retreating his treat grossly exaggerating the governors weight and finding it fun and funny. To me, it strikes me as repulsive, but what do you think . I think that this is going to be a race where fitness to be president will be something that multiple candidates deal with. We have the questions floating around whether joe biden is too old, trump is 76. You know, and trump, of course, likes to attack people on things like christies weight or bidens age and i think youll be hearing more of it. Fitness is a Voter Question to ask and as christie trying to take off, if this is going to be an issue for him. Neil i always think if you point at someones weight you better be an adonis yourself. That aside, if weight were an issue, Chris Christie wouldnt be successful twoterm governor and john corzine had ads, trying to throw his weight around and et cetera and make the childish comparisons and i understand it. I thought it would be fair game not to judge someone upon the color of their skin, but apparently its okay if they have, maybe, a little extra skin. I just find it weird. Oh, you know, we are going to see, i think, also has christie gets in the race and trying to shape his own narrative, it might be more difficult for trump to do that for limb him. The former president is powerful when attaching nicknames to people. Neil right. Hammering on different features and identity and its something that trump has exaccepted at in the past and showing no signs of a different tact this cycle. Neil others might as well to your point, i find it demeaning and childish and its just me, im only five pounds weight so its nothing personal. Let me ask you to about the approach, the one acceptable bastion thats alive and well today a persons weight. Its hard to quantify. Neil youre thin and fit so you might have an inherent inact to relate to this. Its thank you. Neil Winston Churchill and others would never make it today. Today, like you said, Chris Christie was elected successfully twice in new jersey. We have politicians who are a little overweight. When i think of this question back to 2016 and the Gender Question that was surrounding hillary clinton, its something thats hard to pull because people dont want to be honest what they think, but there are these prejudices, these thoughts that voters might have that shape how they see someone. Neil yeah, again, certainly get Chris Christie on the issues that matter like trump, didnt like trump, now going to be the guy going after trump and i looked at eight years, capped Property Taxes and vetoed more than 400 tax increases, opened up charter schools. Was finally able to deal with State Pensions in a way that was realistic, that ticked off both sides, but at least started progress. So i would say, look at the good and the bad, if you will, on a fair scale, so to speak. Your thoughts. Yeah, its going to be interesting with christie because as hes foreshadowed hes really launching this campaign at a moment when hes been very critical of trump and he also has a record to run on and how is he going to push both. The indications we have so far is that his campaign is going to rely heavily on earned media, on being on fox, on being on the television and grabbing peoples attention and one way to do that is to get out there and not be afraid to be a Trump Attack Dog and christie has a chance to shape his own identity and a chance to show that. Neil hes a hell of a debater, i dont think hes going to let up on things. To your point that could be the difference this time with the field of candidates going after donald trump rather than hoping he fizzles out. Thats probably not going to be the case, right . Yeah, so far they have, i think of safety in numbers. Enough people kind of making jabs at donald trump and he cant quite fend off the whole field at once. When you think back to 2019 you cant imagine politicians coming out and saying things that people are saying right now about trump. So, were going to see where that goes. I think that christie, you know, hes a former prosecutor. Hes been very vocal and we also have mike pence getting into the race who has his own involvement in january 6th and the 2020 election, and so, those two, you know, they both are wellknown by voters and they both could have a lot to say if they want to. Neil yeah, well, they will be saying it. Maggie, great talking to you. Thank you for joining us. Thank you for having me. Neil in the meantime, were focusing on donald trump. One of the things he said of maybe a key debate in this entire race, the promise to end birth right citizenship for illegal citizens. And that added another wrinkle to this debate . I know this is not in c consnance with constitutional law, 125 years ago that the 14th Amendment was clear anyone born in u. S. Territory had a constitutional right to birth right citizenship, but neil, my own parents who were here on a green card, when i was born in california, would i have lost birth right citizenship . Thats a good point. Then what . Yeah, thats exactly right. Any attempt to undo it would require a constitutional amendment. No president should have the power to undo what is constitutional intent. The constitutional amendment is nearly impossible. I think the last time the u. S. Went through a constitutional amendment was 50 years ago successfully. You need 38 states, you need 65 of the senate and congress to approve it. They cant even agree on something as simple as dreamers who everybody agrees on. Neil its a way for the former president to distinguish himself or separate himself from the other candidates, not only am i tough at those on the border and separating children from parents if thats what it takes, but saying that their children have no right to be here simply because the parents got in here. Well, look, neil, i think any attempts to assuage the restrictionist wing of the parties by wasting efforts to undo Birthright Citizenship would alienate the latino voters that the Biden Administration proven inempty at border security. I feel that the latino voters would frown on the efforts to undo Birthright Citizenship. Im one of them. Neil how do you think the latino vote is shaping up for 24 . Look, i think theres a tremendous opportunity. There haven about shifting winds where republicans have been picking up latino voters left and right, and latinos are distancing themselves away from sort of the radical agenda of the left. The focus with latinos should be on championing a pro growth, pro jobs, pro energy agenda, end of washingtons wasteful spending, secure our borders, tackle the runaway crime in our urban centers, defend our constitution. These are all things you can focus on and win latino voters on and especially, i think, a fullthroated defense of the free market, especially when it comes to like attracting these young, urban College Educated latina women a big part of the latino vote. Neil youre a good man and dont step back in the heat of either side, but you can see the big picture. Always good having you on. Thank you. Neil and the libra initiative. And the crash in india, close to a thousand injured. Two passenger trains that collided with a Freight Train and this is certainly one of the deadliest rail crashes weve seen in that country and actually weve seen anywhere, the latest after this. This isnt just freight. These arent just shipments. Theyre promises. Promises of all shapes and sizes. Each, with a time and a place theyve been promised to be. A promise is everything to old dominion, because it means everything to you. All right. Continuing to follow Breaking News in india this morning on what officials are already calling one of the worst Rail Disasters in the countrys history, maybe the earths history. At least 260 people known dead. Theyre still looking for victims right now, might be trapped underneath Railroad Cars at that spun over like toys. More than a thousand injured after two passenger trains collided with a Freight Train. The cause of the collision could have on a signal error. Well bring you more as we get it. Just incredible pictures coming from there. In the meantime, updating you on the United States and china relationship, chillier and nastier by the day. Some developments Lucas Tomlinson is following. Lloyd austin speaking in singapore at a defense conference, hoping for this with the chinese that did not happen. The Chinese Government snubbing lloyd austin and his chinese counterpart says he does not want to sit down for a formal meeting, and were told the two shook hands for dinner and austin spoke. We will support our allies and partners as they defend themselves against coercion and bullying. To be clear, we do not seek conflict or confrontation, but we will not flinch in the face of bullying or coercion. Its notable, austin talking about bullying, not so subtle reference to this chinese fighter jet that thumped in front of the airline that caused turbulence. And they blasted the chinese stunt. And were learning that war ships, and a Montreal Canadian war ship transited the volatile Taiwan Strait in international water. A Chinese War Ship Cut across the bow of the american war ship, according to canada. If youre the Chinese Government, seeing the spy ships off shore in International Air space, and they get that, and trying to lower the temperature. The United States does not seek a new cold war and competition must not spill over into conflict and the region should never be split into hostile blocks. Instead, were working to strengthen the guardrails against conflict. Of course, Many American lawmakers say thats exactly what the u. S. Is engaged with in china, a new cold war. Of course, one other part about the Debt Ceiling Fight, Many Republican lawmakers think the Defense Department is not getting enough money and that the biden Defense Budget for this year actually amounts to a cut when you factor in inflation, neil. Neil thank you for you. Lucas tomlinson at the white house. And the general joins us, and we dont want to turn this into something nasty. Safe to say that it already is. What do we do . The general will tell us after this. And high rate credit cards, and save hundreds every month. Oh booking. Com, im going to somewhere, anywhere. A beach house, a treehouse, honestly i dont care booking. Yeah. You know, we keep talking about how nasty things have gotten between ourselves and the chinese. This has been a daily event, if it werent for the Debt Ceiling Stuff this would have led to each and over news bracket on the networks. Increasingly it gets more bizarre. What we learn from the pentagon this week about some tourists that might be spies, that was it. Jennifer griffin with more on that, jennifer. Neil, there were two cases in florida in 2019, a chinese businesswoman caught at maralago with a purse full of electronics and a Chinese Student caught taking photos inside a naval base in key west. Now u. S. Officials confirm to fox news that chinese citizens suspected of being spies have attempt today penetrate u. S. Military bases in alaska in recent months. The incidents have increased in the last several years, were told. Alaska is home to some of the countrys sensitive military bases. More fifth Generation Fighters jets are wabased in alaska than anywhere else in the world and sophisticated ground base and Ballistic Missile Early Warning systems. U. S. Troops have encountered chinese citizens, posing as tourists to see the Northern Lights and attractions. In one incident reported by usa today and confirmed by fox news, a vehicle carrying several chinese citizens blew past a Security Check post at fort Wayne Wainwright in fairbanks, alaska, an after eventually stopping the vehicle, a drone was inside. And protecting the u. S. Mainlands and alarm about what were seeing. Any spy balloons, chinese suspected spies in alaska, this is another wakeup call we are in a new era led by china and russia. After the spy balloon which started over alaska, senator Lisa Murkowski spoke on capitol hill. As an alaskan, i am so angry. Alaska is the first line of defense for america, right . Coming at you, if youre going to have china coming at you, we know exactly how they come. They come up and they go over alaska. The fbi director Christopher Wray says the fbi opens a new Chinese Government espionage case in the u. S. Every 12 hours, neil. Neil jennifer griffin, thank you. To Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg now, former National Security advisor under mike pence. General, good to have you. Maybe you can make sense how we respond to it, a daily almost hourly event, one provocative act after another, using tourists and spies, and drones, thats nuts. Neil, good to have me with you. First of all, the words are important. We need to label them, they, the chinese, adversary. Theyre not a competitor, theyre challenging the United States in the Western Pacific and globally as wellment i look at what happened in singapore with the shangrila conference lloyd austin there, and lee from china is there, theyre not meeting there, snubbing them. And lloyds word, sounds like the State Department. Hes the muscle of the u. S. Government meaning the Defense Department he needs to act tough and talk tough and remind the chinese that were a global power and a very powerful power as well. This thing that just happened recently on the jet flyby against our reconnaissance aircraft, look, the chinese look at 200 mile exclusion zone from land. We recognize 12 miles. We need to muscle up and we need to push back on them and we need to enforce our defense in taiwan as well. Three philosophies at play. One i call the obamabiden philosophy, strategic ambivalence, were not sure where they stand and the bush doctrine, put troops on the ground, think afghanistan. And what i call the reagantrump doctrine, help our allies defend themselves the maximum possible. And send a message to the chinese, upgun taiwan, for any invasion plans, i think theyre in play, we inform the chinese youre not going to have this invasion work and stand behind the taiwanese and support them to the best degree possible. We havent done any of that, its ambivalence. Neil we look kind of wormish, maybe thats not the intention, when they had the provocative jet action, we were the ones trying to call the next day and wouldnt talk to us. I mean, it just looks so look what happened with the balloon, that was an intelligence balloon. The Sense Er Sensor Package Wase of a school bus and over our defense fields that old the icbm systems and traveled across the United States and finally shot it down over the South Carolina coast. Its just, it makes no sense to me and thats what i was talking about with lloyd austin when he speaks like that in singapore at the conference. Look, you need to be the tough guy. Youre the muscle of the United States government. Youre not the State Department guy. The words you used should have come from tony blinken not from our Secretary Of Defense. Neil all right, he is the Secretary Of Defense and taking his order from the president , the white house, whoever is running it these days and showing a message that we dont want to rattle cages, we understand that, i get that. And i am reminded of teddy roosevelt, speak softly and carry a big stick. Im wonder where the big stick is, we mean what we say. I dont think its there. I dont think its their philosophy, the strategic ambivalence. They dont want to cause problems. Sometimes in the world when youre facing an an adversary like the russians or chinese and you have to play tough and hard and theres risk to this. We understand that. Risk is the province of war and National Government and National Security and they have to play hard ball and theyre not doing that and the consequences are astounding to me. All it does with an adversary, push the envelope, push, push, push, and we need to push back and we havent done it. Neil do you think they follow the Debt Ceiling Fight and back and forth, general. One of the ramification there is an increase of spending for defense, 3 , and with inflation its not an increase, its actually a cut and theyre seizing from that, well, the americans arent serious about their defense or building up for something, if we do something, what do you think . Well, look, first of all, the Defense Budget would be with 880 billion, pretty significant, but i think what theyre looking at isnt that fight or the Defense Budget fight. What theyre looking at the way we treat our military. Our military has now taken diversity and put it up top and have to remind people the militarys goal is simple, its to deter and if deterrence fail, you fight and win our nations war and i dont think that philosophy in this administration is a primary role its not a secondary role, i think its a tertiary role. What are they going to do. Its not a mark against our men and women in uniform, its leadership, political as you see in the Defense Department and they see weakness and they will now push that weakness to a level and again goes back to the balloon how we react to tough events and we dont react hard and we need to react hard. Understanding like i said a minute ago, neil, theres risk involved, but sometimes you have to do that. Neil youre right about that, general. Always good seeing you. And thank you more for your Incredible Service to this country. General Keith Kellogg, former National Security advisor to mike pence. In the meantime, were following up on a very scary fact, 9 million americans who are not taking their prescriptions as told or as much, some cutting back on it because the drugs are so darn expensive and some are risking dying. Weve got the latest after this. Etitive brother. Check. Psych and im about to steal this game from you just like i stole kelly carter in high school. You got no game dude, thats a foul and now youre ready to settle the score. Game over. And if you dont have the right Home Insurance coverage, well, you could end up paying for all this yourself. So get allstate, and be better protected from mayhem, yeah, like me. Thanks, bro. Take a lap, rookie. Real mature. Hi, im michael, ive lost 70 pounds on golo. I spent thousands on other diets that didnt work. On golo, i spent a couple hundred bucks and got back down to my high school weight. Youre not gonna believe this thing is possible but it is. We really dont want people to think of feeding food like ours is spoiling their dogs. Good, real food is simple. It looks like food, it smells like food, its what dogs are supposed to be eating. No living being should ever eat processed food for every single meal of their life. Its amazing to me how many people write in about their dogs changing for the better. The farmers dog is just our way to help people take care of them. This is our premium platinum coverage map and this is consumer cellulars map. I dont see the difference, do you . Start with an all cash offer at opendoor dot com well, inflation can be a real pain in the neck, but it can be life threatening when you learn that millions of americans arent taking their medications as prescribed, theyre sort of trying to extend the length of the drugs theyre taking because theyre so expensive. Steve harrigan now on the danger of that, steve. A new report from the c. D. C. Says as many as 9 million americans are not taking medication as prescribed, theyre cutting the dosage or skipping entirely often for financial reasons when this comes to those who skip, women are more likely than men, blacks are more likely than whites. The implications of skipping or cutting the medication can be serious, cutting down can build up a resistance to that medication by the body and that could limit future treatment. Now the price of insulin in 2021 hit 500 for a 30 month supply many people like la la jackson had a decision to make. It was groceries are insulin. It was rent or insulin. Gas to get to the job to get the paycheck to pay for insulin. The number of people not fulfilling prescriptions can be staggering even for the most serious diseases. One in three Medicare Beneficiaries dont start Cancer Treatment and thats astonishing and i think that speaks to the costs of the medications going up and up and up, and patients having to make the decision am i going to put food on the table or going to take my medication. When it comes to high blood pressure, the c. D. C. Found those not fulfilling prescriptions and could lead to strokes or Heart Attacks and for insurers and patients. Neil and you remember dr. Bob, from The Institute Of Auto Immune Diseases director. Its been a while, bob, thank you for coming. My pleasure, neil. Neil what do you make of this . Times of tough. People are saying maybe see if i could stretch this out a bit. This is a big problem. Im glad the c. D. C. Finally caught up with it. You can speak to any doctor in the street and he or she will tell you, when you prescribe a drug for the patient, you presume that the patient is taking the drug. You look at the diabetics, and you heard the story that one in six diabetics do not take their insulin properly. This leads to stroke, heart disease, leads to all sorts of things and thats just one drug. We have thousands of medications were prescribing and the patients simply dont take the medicine because its too costly. Some of the prescriptions you may have heard, are over A Thousand Dollars a month and thats a copay. The patient arent going to pay that, especially if they dont have Good Health Insurance and 23 , almost a quarter of the population that dont have Good Health Insurance are not taking Player Medications as we prescribe them. So, what do you tell the patients who are telling you that . Well, i tell the patients that, look, its your health. And we heard the lady that was just on, that said its her car payments, its her mortgage, her food for the children. This is a real problem. None of us are socialists and we dont want a socialist system, but when it comes to health care, we are among the leading countries in the world that have very poor adherence to health care plans. The Insurance Companies are also giving us a lot of commotion and that is because when i write a prescription for a simple drug, a patient may have to wait for five to six days to get authorization for that drug and oftentimes that doesnt come and they say use something cheaper, use something cheaper because we dont want to pay for it. So youve got the patient not wanting to pay and youve not the Insurance Companies not wanting to pay if youve got the man on the street, you see that this is a really big issue. The irony, doctor, with the Insurance Companies, they might not cover drug or a drug to its full price, but theyll cover the hospitalization thats required because the patient cant get that drug and gets very sick. Yes. Well, when the patients in the hospital and youre right because of not taking the drug, theyre very sick. When the patient is discharged, theyre given a prescription for medication, and they go right back to not taking it. So, its a revolving door. These patients who are indigent are in the hospital and theyre at great cost to both the taxpayer and to the state and to Insurance Companies, and yet, when theyre discharged, it makes absolutely no sense to not be able to have them adhere to the regiment that the prescription is prescribing. The illnesses, some are very, very serious and some cannot be controlled by the patient and not their fault that they have a hereditary condition, for example. The official read from the World Health Authority or even the white house on down, covid is over and resume your lines, a lot of the companies that make these drugs and various vaccines are constantly reminding folks, you should get your booster, get the followup. Where are you on all of this . Well, my patients come to me and ask me, should i get my third or second booster, and right now, because the hospitals are empty of Covid Patients with few exceptions, unless you have a comorbidity, this is the way i look at it, comorbidity under Cancer Therapy or Auto Immune Therapy or unlying condition like severe, severe diabetes or blood clotting problem, theyre not going for the boosters. Theres so much misinformation out there about the adverse effect of vaccines that most of my patients wont go near a vaccine at this point unless theres a knife to their throat that says, you know, hey, if you dont get the vaccine, youre going to die. And thats quite the case for some of the patients with comorbidities, but not for everybody. Doctor, now, theres a concern if we ever saw Something Like covid involved again or a mass pandemic. We would do things differently. We wouldnt shut people in their homes, et cetera. Where are you on that . Well, you have to look at the data, neil. And god knows, we read all of these scientific papers every single day and we see that it is unnecessary, knowing the demographics that children, for example, below the age of, say 15, are not at great risk, should not be locked down and should not be kept out of their classrooms and that adults, say, below the age of 65, its not really necessary unless they have comorbidity to get the Booster Vaccines especially with the Omicron Variant and we have over 80 Herd Immunity that i talked about months ago. So im not close to the bone except for patients that have comorbidities and are quite ill, that they should be revaccinated again and again and again. Most of them dont want to go there. The flu is another story. Everybody should have an annual flu vaccine, but with regard to covid, i think its run its course, at least for now. Well, you were calm a rational voice as you are now, doctor, thank you very much. Thank you, neil. Neil dr. Bob lahita. Meanwhile, Churchill Downs shutting down. Ill explain why. With the same amount of fiber as 2 cups of broccoli. Metamucil gummies the easy way to get your daily fiber. Welcome back, everybody. We are following a couple of developments, including the famous Churchill Downs race tracks suspending all races after a number of horses have died. Cb cotton has more. Neil, good morning. A dozen horses dead and Churchill Downs is now saying enough, at least at its famed race track and kentucky derby. Races will be held at a track two hours away in kentucky ellis park. After the trove of horse deaths in the past five weeks and from rememberinglators Churchill Downs says while investigation havent indicated any Surface Issues or patterns linked to the death, the company decided to relocate the meet to conduct a quote, top to bottom review. A day off churchills downs and race authorities put in Safety Initiatives to discourage trainers from running vulnerable horses and measures, a pause of trackbased incentives. Get this only the top five finishers will receive payouts. These rules will be in effect when the Spring Meet Moves to ellis park. Of course, some question Churchill Downs plan to move the spring meet and these new preca precautions. The president of kentucky horsemens benevolent association, says theyre enp unprecedented steps. And theyre likely to appease Animal Rights activists who sounded off. Churchill downs could start with shutting down the track and suspending all the races until they get to the bottom of whats causing the problem. Theyre in very serious trouble and they need to take it seriously. And the horses deaths have certainly been a looming cloud over the triple crown season. Next weeks triple crown finale, belmont stakes, and i want to mention the 12 horses that died, their deaths are still being investigated. Neil thats a lot of horses, to your point. Cb cotton, thank you very much. In the meantime, you know, unions have been on a roll over the past year, actually the past couple of years, but an 81 decision that went against unions from the Supreme Court had a lot of people wondering, wait a minute, whats going on here . Like i said, 81 decision which means a lot of liberal justices went along with it as well. Well explore after this. Lowes knows you never come in for just one thing. So weve got to know a lot of things about a lot of things. Like which mower makes the cut. The mulch that finishes the look. And picking a color that pops. You got this. We got you. So the question, can you sue Striking Union workers if they make a big mess when theyre striking . Essentially the Supreme Court said yes and essentially by an 81 vote which is pretty unequivocal. Lets get the read for the Deputy Assistant attorney general, tom, this was one that struck me as much for the vote, 81, its lopsided nature as for what they ruled on. Maybe you can help me with that. Absolutely, youre right to put your finger on it. Strange bed fellows in this. On this one, eight out of the nine justices ruled in favor of the employer and against the union. The Supreme Courts decision is significant, places limits on a unions ability to strike. If the union fails to take reasonable precautions and causes significant damage to the employers property, they can get sued. Neil this wasnt a green light to go after unions period. A lot of big businesses and owners said this is a sign here they overplayed their hand. I wondered, was that overreach or what do you think . Yeah, this case had somewhat significant or somewhat extreme facts. What the record showed was that the union had basically timed their strike in a way to cause maximum damage to the employers property. It was concrete mixers so the union went on strike right when the concrete was circulated when they walked off the job, the Concrete Hardened and basically had to be destroyed and thrown out. The Supreme Court says you couldnt do that, you had to do that differently so you didnt cause substantial damage to the property. Neil a couple of other Big Decisions that the Supreme Court weighs in on, the Loan Forgiveness for those behind or not just paying their college bills. Im just wondering when that decision comes out, what do you expect . I expect that were going to get that decision in the next few weeks, certainly by july 1st or thereabouts when the Court Recesses for the summer. I suspect were not going to see the conservative alignment that we saw in the union case, i think thats likely to polarize the liberals and conservatives and that theyll have the upper hand and looking for opportunities to rein in what they see by overreach by the Biden Administration. Neil much has been made as well if i can pingpong with you, i love having you on to catch up with you on legal matters with Justice Thomas, the freebies, he was given or allegedly got, didnt share, that he might be forced to resign. It doesnt appear that that is anywhere near happening, but it would disrupt the court and likely have the view as the president to the left, a democrat, appointing a liberal justice. How close are we to that . Is this something we should watch . I dont think were at all close to that, neil. I cant envision Justice Thomas resigning because of this. I think we are going to see continued pressure from the political branches, the Senate Judiciary committee has been looking at this, demanding records and talking a lot about Supreme Court Ethics Reform and trying to impose a code of conduct on the Supreme Court in my judgment would be highly unconstitutional. So i think well see political battles, but dont see this culminating into resignation of Justice Thomas or anyone else. Neil and i promised i would be pingponging, tom, and youre patient with it. The investigations piling up against donald trump. The latest seems to be around this classified documents, what he knew, when he knew it. What he was sharing, whether it was on mic or not. And more of these could come out and im just wondering, with some of these sort of backing up, does it affect the Candidate Running for president . You know, it doesnt look like it, neil.
