And then you question what exactly are they protesting . Just protesting authority in general and thats where we see people protesting in general and its against the Police Officers<\/a> as well. Its not just trump or its not just the issue. Now its theirs choice to create chaos. Exactly. John, i know were not imagining this every week it seems like we have a story about a Police Officer<\/a> shot or killed in the line of duty, sometimes randomly sitting in the squad car and executed. This looks like a National Trend<\/a> and why is this happening . You know, i do see it as a National Trend<\/a> and the reasons why, for example, last year you have fewer Police Officers<\/a> killed in the line of duty than in 2014. But what that doesnt say is that in 2013, there were nearly half of those officers killed in the line of duty, but also, the functions or the type of activity that officers were engaged. When they were killed. Youre seeing less officers being killed connecting Crime Prevention<\/a> work that was the hallmark of the crime reductions we experienced over the last decade. Were living in an environment where criminals are the victims,\rcops are the criminals, and the victims of crimes are invisible and their lives and those of the Police Officers<\/a> dont matter. I see, john, politicians politicizing crime and saying to people, youre going to jail because someone doesnt like you because of bias, basically. Doesnt that message increase crime . I think so. I think we see the politicians pandering for votes and trying to associate the cops as the enemy. If you take the cops out of these neighborhoods the cops are protecting these neighborhoods and servicing the neighborhoods and formed something people look at the cops as enemy. If you can just imagine youre in the water, you fall off a boat, and you dont have a life jacket. You dont know when someone might rescue you or save you. Thats the reality for a fisherman earlier this week. He treaded water to stay alive and i want to take you right to this video released by the coast guard. This is video captured just a\rfew miles away from hudson, florida. 61yearold william durdsen had been treading water for 20 hours at this point. It took a helicopter and swimmer to pull him to safety. Authorities say trouble started wednesday. He left his summer home off the houma sass sa river and boarded a 22foot boat and took off on a fishing trip. Day turned to night and he didnt come back so his wife alerted the coast gird. About three hours into the search a fish and Wildlife Group<\/a> spotted the boat in the key. A Coast Guard Air<\/a> crew located the fisherman, his team completed that rescue by transporting him here to the air station in clearwater. Medics checked him out and they did not find a single injury. So he certainly escaped with an amazing story to share and he credits his military training with what to do in this type of situation. Several hundred protesters were waiting outside the san jose\rConvention Center<\/a> yesterday afternoon when that trump rally got out. It had the supporters as the supporters tried to leave, crowds of the protesters followed them. They were not only yelling, some of the threw bottles, spat on them, ripped away their signs and set them on fire along with American Flag<\/a>. Cameras caught several Trump Supporters<\/a> getting sucker punched and left with bloodied faces. While police in riot gear stood by. This woman got herself in a very scary situation when she tried to confront a large group of protesters and started taunting them. Reporter it was an ugly\rscene yesterday afternoon in san jose when several hundred protesters targeted donald Trump Supporters<\/a> after his rally. And this video gives you an idea of what it was like for some of the folks as they tried to leave. This woman wearing a trump shirt tried to confront some of the protesters and started taunting them. A dozen soldiers swept away when their vehicle is swallowed up by the raging floodwaters and now the frantic search for survivors. The soldiers were on a routine Training Exercise<\/a> at the time when the 2 1 2 ton truck that they were riding in became overwhelmed by fast moving floodwaters. As they tried to drive across a swollen creek. A road, a low water crossing. The army vehicle then overturned, according to officials at ft. Hood. Five soldiers lost their lives. Three were rescued and are recovering at a local hospital. Four troopers remain unaccounted for this morning. The problem is, emergency crews say that the area where this happened on post is extremely\rrugged. It is a wooded area. That coupled with bad weather conditions only making this search more difficult. All of the soldiers were assigned to the famed first cavalry division, stationed at ft. Hood. In closing arguments prosecutors say that these were young men who made exceptionally persistent efforts to try to join isis. They tried to get fake passports, tried to fly out of new york and then mexico to avoid suspicion. But the center court of the case is the horrific videos showing mass executions and beheadings. For these young men prosecutors say these were like blockbuster movies. That they would talk about these videos. They would sort of fantasize about them doing the things in these videos as well. The defense said hold on a minute. These are actually young men just bragging, just talking big. The defense said these young men were essentially entrapped by three informants who testified. One of these informants who is paid 119,000 for his activities. One of the defense attorneys\rsaid that these three inform ends were sort of like a threelegged stool.
