Surge. Plus, a very public snob for joe biden as President Trump snacks the coveted National Police union endorsement. The president says he is the monitor candidate and that a coasttocoast spike in crime as protesters set aside a police. While the endorsement spark broader support not yet reflected in most polls . Were looking into the president s of surgeons that hes backed by a silent majority. He says will show up in court. Come november. Hello and welcome to fox news night, im Shannon Bream in washington. We begin tonight with White House Correspondent kevin corke. Hes got some breaking news on his beat tonight, hey, kevin. Evening, shannon. Let me just walk this through for you. Your Campaign Manager was a little over 100 days before the 2020 election gets sacked. Nowhere on planet earth is that scenario a good thing. Nevertheless, the president today did try to put a nice spin on that move. Thats happening, by the way on a day that saw him pick up a very important endorsement. Even for the sometimesmercurial President Trump, this was a stunner. With just 110 days left before the 2020 election, a change at the top of the campaign. Announcing on twitter that bill stepping and have been promoted to the role of trump Campaign Manager adding the former manager Brad Parscale would continue to lead our digital and data strategies as a senior advisor. Both were heavily involved in our historic 2016 win come he continued, and i look forward to having a big and very important second win together. The move comes as the president trails and polling nationally and in several key battleground states like pennsylvania where the latest monmouth survey as the former Vice President ahead by double digits. The critics will cook a little mind that polling in 2016 was anything but predictive of the outcome and even the monmouth survey acknowledged most voters believe there is a secret trump vote that simply wont show up in many surveys. Straighten things out. Straighten things out. That was the president s message today, referencing an upcoming announcement on how his admission ration intends to deal with crime and democratlead cities. He made the remarks in the briefing with reporters about his ongoing efforts to deal with the ms13 gang. Noting that he had more to say next week about combating the type of violent unrest thats played out across the country in cities like seattle, minneapolis, portland, chicago, and new york. We have other cities that are out of control. They are like war zones. In chicago, 68 people were shot and 18 died last week. We are not going to put up with that. Meanwhile, the National Association of Police Organizations officially endorsed th the president s reelection today. The group represent over a quarter of a million lawenforcement officials nationwide and the support for the president actually represents a bit of a reversal of sorts. After backing the obamabiden tickets in both 2008 and again in 2012, the group set out the 2016 election before throwing their support behind the commander in chief this year. Very interesting, that news there. When asked at the end of the event that we just showed you whether he planned to follow through on a recent statement that the feds would try to take over some cities like chicago in order to deal with crime, the president didnt exactly answer the question directly, but past is prologue, i think its fair to say his morning that there will be an announcement next week involving the ag and Law Enforcement and this idea of interceding and crime average cities. I would say this, shannon, it is a fairly good bet that he follows through. Of course i will be following at all for you, but for now, back to you. Shannon listen, the president had a hit tv show, he knows how to put a tease out there, so we will all be watching and waiting for that. You by. Shannon thank you. Violent clashes in new york city again today. This time as a stop the violence march of clergy on Law Enforcement in support of police was met by counter protesters. Correspondent alex hogan is live in new york city tonight with the very latest on that. Good evening, alex. Good evening, shannon. Protests again across the country, one here among police and protesters even turning body. On the Brooklyn Bridge behind me, police told people that if they didnt leave the area they would be arrested. Take a listen. If you have refused to leave the roadway you will be placed under arrest under the charge of disorderly conduct. The nypd arresting 37 people and sending four of their own to the hospital, including chief perry monahan, who just about a month ago knelt and solidarity at a black lives matter rally. Video showed police around a one man the bridge. Protester runs up, hitting an officer over the head with what appears to be a bar or pipe. New york city mayor bill de blasio calling the violence unacceptable. We have an antipolice atmosphere, so cops are being challenged every step of the way. Protesters were also violently harmed. And injured. I think as we are talking about people putting their bodies on the line to confront state violence, winter talk about violence on both sides. Important, groups set up tents near the citys federal courthouse to form an autonomous zone like the former capital Occupied Zone known as chop in seattle. The Police Department said demonstrators through glass bottles, pointed lasers at them and even set a fire. Federal agents using tear gas on them this morning. We were trying to like tell them we are not doing anything, we are being peaceful right now and they just out of nowhere start shooting at the ground, shooting the pepper rounds, throwing nine bank flash bangs at us and a whole bunch of gas. Meantime today in the nations capital, one person is in custody accused of setting a Supreme Court police car on fire and in cities across the nation trying to hear these calls for Police Reform while also making the situations better between police and the communities there in new york city, mayor de blasio tweeting you acted and we heard you. Listening, and creating legislation today, signing a new Police Reform bill that would ban things like choke hold. Shannon. Shannon we are going to talk about those tweets. Alex hogan in new york, thank you. So amid growing hostility towards Law Enforcement by some groups across the country, breaking tonight, the National Association of Police Organizations is breaking with joe biden after endorsing obamabiden ticket in 2008 and 2012, instead, now giving their full backing to President Trump. So how does the 2020 endorseme endorsement lets ask the organizations president , nick mikael and former nypd commissioner bernie kerik. They both join us live. Gentlemen, welcome. Thank you. Thank you for having me. Shannon all right, here is the headline today. Its as major police lobbying Group Endorses trumps reelection bid despite backing obamabiden ticket in 2012. How did that come about . Well, we organized a Virtual Meeting today of our entire organization for the sole purpose of a president ial endorsement. This is following our bylaws that weve traditionally utilized since our inception in 1978. As a result of todays meeting of our groups, a nomination was made and seconded and there was discussion at our bylaws call for twothirds of the body to endorse a specific candidate and President Trump earn five endorsement with great margin them participated in todays meeting. So whats with great pride that i announce on behalf of our National Association of Police Organizations our endorsement of president donald j. Trump. Shannon all right. Bernie, as a lifelong Law Enforcement guy yourself, this president has talked about a fact that hes going to portray himself as a law order candidate. He said that it is about, this unrest, the attacks on the police, all of that is going to be a big part of his Campaign Agenda and the message. How much do you think this endorsement could mean for him . I think its enormous. And i think its only the beginning. You have to realize, shannon, theres 800900,000 local state and federal police officers, Law Enforcement officers in this country. And if theyre watching the news, if theyre watching whats going on on a daily basis around the country, whether its atlanta, new york city, baltimore, portland, seattle, the democrats are completely antipolice. AntiLaw Enforcement. If thats the case, theres only one vote you need, and thats for this president , who has consistently, since hes been in office, consistently been a super proLaw Enforcement president , so i think this is only the beginning of whats to come for the president and his campaign. Shannon want to ask you both to weigh in quickly on the idea that the president is going to make an announcement next week about potentially the feds getting involved in cities where he says local leaders are not getting things done. Some police say that they are being really one hand tied behind her back trying to do their job and you know, some of those Democratic Leaders pushing back, which we are going to talk about more later, saying we dont want the feds here. What you think about this announcement, we may be getting from the president . Well, i think the announcement, we are excited to hear what the plan is moving forward. As was stated by the gentleman with me, the president , one of his first orders upon taking office was executing an executive order which gave us the opportunity to secure supplies, surplus supplies, military and you see some of the elected officials on a continuous basis including the Vice President described those as attack vehicles. They are rescue vehicles. There are thousands of cases throughout our nation where those vehicles and the protective equipment have been utilized not only to protect the police, but more importantly, to protect the public we serve. So we are excited in anticipation of the president s announcement and he has shown time and time again by supporting legislation to include the permanent restoration of funding for the 9 11 act, that is the funding for the families of those who suffered tragedy on that horrific date and the First Responders who continue as we speak tonight to pay with their lives as a result of their heroic efforts. So the president has continually supported legislation to include mental health, wellness act, things like that and we anticipate and hopefully have four more years. Shannon burning, quick final word to you. Listen, the president is going to do everything in his power and i think a lot of this is going to have to do with putting the atf, the fbi, the dea, and the Marshall Service in these communities, start picking out the gangs, taking up the guns, cleaning up the community so the people can live there safely, which is what the democrats are not doing. Shannon all right, bernie and nick, thank you both, great to see you both tonight. Thank you very much, i appreciate the opportunity. Shannon several highprofile accounts on twitter today, appearing to take over the accounts of elon musk, president obama and his former Vice President joe biden. Twitter says its taking steps to limit the damage tonight amid the ongoing investigation. Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich is digging in on what we know so far. Hey. Shannon, the scammers account racked up at least 300 payments as of this evening, totaling about 120,000 worth of bitcoins cryptocurrency. Its not clear if all of it, which are far from people who clicked on the tweet. Among the highprofile quarter accounts targeted, president barack obama and his Vice President joe biden. Billionaires bill gates, warren buffett, jeff bezos and michael bloomberg, also elon musk and kanye west. Some Company Twitter accounts were also hacked, including apple and it will burn. The accounts of the collective following of more than 300 million people. They tweeted similar messages. Biden of estevez tweet read im giving back to the community, all bitcoins enter the address is below will say be sent back double. If you send 1,000, i will send back 2,000. Only doing this for 30 minutes. Bidens campaign told fox twitter locked down the account immediately following the breach and remove the related tweet. We remain in trusts with twitter on the matter appeared but for hours, twitter released few updates, only saying they were investigating a security incident and apparently locking down verified accounts to prevent users from sharing the scan. The department of Homeland Security Cyber Division did not answer whether any government accounts were at risk. But the Fbis San Francisco Field Office told fox the accounts appear to have been compromised in order to perpetuate cryptocurrency fraud. We advise the public not to solve the mic fell victim to the scam by spending cryptocurrency or money in relation to this incident. Missouri senator josh hawley sent a letter to twitter Ceo Jack Dorsey in the aftermath demanding he reach out to the department of justice and the fbi to secure the site, writing i am concerned that this event may represent not merely a coordinated set of separate hacking incidents but rather a successful attack on the security of twitter itself. As you know, millions of users rely your service not just to tweet publicly, but also to comedic it privately through direct message service. Senator hawley also asked whether the attack threaten the security of President Trumps account. Its not clear how the hackers got around multifactor authentication or user data was stolen. Tonight twitter Ceo Jack Dorsey responded on twitter calling it a tough day for the company and saying we all feel terrible about this. Shannon. Shannon Jacqui Heinrich, thank you very much. Seems to be on someone of the vicarage working rattling the state and himself or defeating the virus, even selling this poster, which shows his state getting over the mountain by bringing down the curve during the 111 days of hell as the governor put it. It includes reference to his daughter and her boyfriend, little inside jokes. There were no illustrations over of the more than 32,000 dead new yorkers, the highest death toll by far of any state. Shannon cnns jake tapper calling out Governor Andrew Cuomo the way he has handled the covert outbreak in new york than the socalled victory lap. Tonight were getting reports from florida that miami area hospitals are running out of icu beds equipped for handling covid19 patience. Currently flutter hospitals are treating 8,253 covid19 patience, according to the state health department, that is causing strain at some facilities. You may know that our hospital has asked of the governor for additional help with nurses to get us some nurses. But its bed capacity, its the daily strategy meetings to figure out which beds can we turn into covid bets, which bets can we create safe isolation f for . Shannon the rolling sevenday average is now 81 deaths a day in florida. Secondhighest in the country behind texas. Its double to 39 ford average two weeks ago. In texas, san antonios bringing in refrigerated trailers because of what Officials Say is a backlog of deceased patients. With the growing number of covid19 deaths and also the fact that any funerals are on hold, local hospitals are experiencing a surge in death that also means a surge on their morgue capacity. Shannon for the latest on whats happening at his home state and where he thinks the media has been getting along, republican congressman from texas dan crenshaw 20, joins us, great to have you sir. Great to be with you, shannon. Shannon lets talk about some of these texas numbers from today. Texas deaths, record and high new death today in numbers out of texas. New cases, over 7,300 new cases reported today in hospitalizations at over 10,400. Saw a lot of eyes on texas. Where do you think the media has been getting it wrong when it comes to the hard data or extrapolating into that that into whats happening in texas . Well, as i keep saying, we have to look at all the data. You cant just whistle by these numbers. It is a very concerning numbers and everybody has to take notice, where your mask, social distance, lets not gather into large groups. But i also im looking at the houston area specifically. Her hospitalization rates, our growth rate, how many net additions are we putting into the hospital every day, thats significantly down from last week. You know, its a little bit up from, say yesterday, but significantly down from last week. We are in phase two of icu beds capacities, theres well over 800 icu beds available in houston now and i can be surged to thousands more. It does require rearrangement and remanagement of how they do that. But people just have to remember what it means when we are at icu capacity. So this time last year our hospitals were often operating at 95 icu capacity. Thats how you run a hospital. Then they go into phase two and phase three. We should always just present people with all the data, not just the scariest data, but all the data and in houston, that growth rate appears to be plateauing, switch a few days of good trends. We are not out of the woods, got to take personal responsibility and make sure that were doing the right thing, but lets look at all the data. Shannon so lets look back at where we started this, which was talking about Governor Cuomo sort of celebrating where they are in new york. Listen, it is a good day when they have zero covid19 deaths reported, we know about the situation there was, it was dire, it was frightening. They are passed it but what you make about this idea that the governor sort of getting a pat on the back from a lot of the median from himself and appears . Yeah. Im always amazed by their ability to spin false narratives. If youre going to be intellectually honest about criticizing our leaders, you have to be able to look back in time and say, you took action that was it was very clear that you should have gone right and instead you want right. A lot of people like to criticize republican governors for reopening too early. What that really means is youre saying that they were wrong to give people too much freedom. If that sound ridiculous, it is of course. But Governor Cuomo did something much worse than that, he took affirmative action that actually harmed yorkers. What was that . You put patients who were infected back in nursing homes, we cannot forget this. Actually took action that hurt people and is responsible for a huge amount of deaths there. And it resulted in this curve, which was the one the exact curve that we were supposed to avoid, then he goes and makes this artistic poster about it and tries to pretend like its a good thing. Its really unbelievable and i think it really offends a lot of new yorkers come as it should. And good for jake tapper for pointing that out. Shannon okay, so you mentioned the cdc and we talk about where they have been on a number of issues. First of all, theres a couple of things i want to try to get to with you, one is that the director talked about the fact that there was a spike in mid to early june and he said it could be that there were northerners who were traveling on vacation, the south had been doing a decent job to that point, but there were those traveling in from heavy hit areas. The director of the Harvard Global Health Institute with this, not sure why cdc director is pushing his argument of pursuing this, it is looking at bad data or his line the long lessons. Northern vacationers not because of big national operates, have to get better at managing the pandemic, drawing long, long lessons and sample to that goal. What you make of this backandforth of that, by the cdc director . I generally trust with the cdc director says. Im sure its not the only cause, but heres the thing. Why does the left disagree with this . How did they think about this . They are focused on only one cause for spikes in the coronavirus and thats reopening. They are obsessed with this. Why . Because they only have one solution, they are very binary in our thinking. They believe that the only solution to ever deal with coronavirus is universal lockdowns. There obsessed with that, they push this narrative constantly. Again, why . Because generally speaking solutions on the left means topdown, centralized control. As much Government Intervention in your life as possible. We know that acrosstheboard come across all issues, and this is no different. They only believe in one solution then there can only be one cause, right . And thats reopening. The reality is of course its not just northerners traveling south, its all variety of things. People letting their guard down, large holiday gatherings and of course huge protests across the country. Its a layering effect and it compounded and we saw spikes as a result. Shannon so also about the cdc, we got word today that Hospital Data is going to go straight into the administration, to hhs i believe is going to get this data. Instead of a going to the cdc, there have been some internal disputes or disagreements about how the data was being used and the ability of the white house to get it. There are those who are now worried if it goes to hhs and not to the cdc it will be public, it will be available for other people to crunch the data, researchers to look at it and of course the left is worried about the Trump Administration taking control of this information. Senator Elizabeth Warren tweets this. Health officials made trustworthy and transparent data to fight covid19. Unconcern faces an attempt to politicize the federal response and coverup failures. Secretary azar must expend these changes, do you need an x donation, congressman . Perhaps. I dont have enough information about why they made that change. Of course, you can rely on senator Elizabeth Warren to jump to massive conclusions and politicize it herself. But, you know, im certainly not averse to getting an explanation on why they made that. What seems like an administrative change. Shannon congressman dan crenshaw, gray tabby with us, thanks for your time. Great to be with you, shannon, thanks. Shannon knew tonight, georgias republican Governor Brian Kemp banning cities and counties from ordering people to wear masks in public places. He avoided orders on wednesday that at least 15 local governments across the state had adopted while adding we continue to encourage georgians to do the right thing and wear a mask voluntarily. Nearby alabama issued a statewide mass order today. Along with rigorous cleaning practices managed for a mask wearing and social distancing, some School Districts are getting creative and finding ways to keep students safe. Check this out, in arizona, theyre working on using a giant fan that disperses disinfectant to combat covid19. Senior correspondent Rick Leventhal is tracking that tonight. All about the push to reopen american schools, hey, rick. Good evening, shannon. Millions of kids may not be back in the classrooms this fall even the most parents, teachers and administrators agree, Virtual Learning isnt working very well for most students. The issue is a lack of consensus on safety. Here in los angeles the School Superintendent said that nearly half a million k12 students should stay home until they can all be tested, every single week along with 75,000 teachers and other staff. That would require up to 110,000 tests every single day and still wouldnt guarantee results in settlement reflects someones health at the time of the tests and those results can take several days. On americas newsroom today, former education secretary arnie duncan said he supports keeping kids home. Schools arent bubbles. They are not islands. We see communities where the virus is spiking is actually really unsafe for children, for staff, for teachers, for custodians, for the principal, for childrens parents and grandparents to go back. But duncan would not cite any Scientific Evidence to back this up, despite being asked repeatedly to do so. And if europe and asia are any guide, critics say is absolutely unnecessary and counterproductive to keep schools closed. Numerous countries, including france, finland, belgium, sweden and japan put students back in class both time, in many cases without mask, alternate schedules or extra distance between desks and saw no spiking outbreaks. Documented cases of Young Children passing the virus to classmates or adults are rare. A german study found schoolkids might actually act as a brake on infection. And in a recent story on nbc news, five pediatricians all agreed they would send their kids to school. I will. My kids are looking forward to it. Yes. Period, absolutely. Absolutely. As much as i can. I have no concerns about sending my child to school in the fall. I would let my kids go back to school. Back here in california the Orange County board of education voted monday to reopen schools without masks or social distancing, requiring daily temperature checks and strip cleaning regimens instead. Many county officials oppose that, promising a showdown if that school bell rings, shannon. Shannon all right. Rick, thank you for catching us up. Sure. Shannon okay, the smithsonian, is it calling out white culture for normals and things like selfreliance and respecting authority postcode and the calls to drop the National Anthem and think of a different america, we will break down the latest culture clashes with charlie kirk and Leslie Marshall, next. Dont just think about where youre headed this summer. Think about how youll get there. And now that you can lease or buy a new lincoln remotely or in person. Discovering that feeling has never been more effortless. The lincoln summer invitation sales event is here. Did you know Liberty Mutual customizes your Car Insurance tada so you only pay for what you need . Given my unique lifestyle, thatd be perfect let me grab a pen and some paper. Know what . Im gonna switch now. Just need my desk. My chair. And my phone. Only pay for what you need. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Shannon the National Museum of africanamerican history and culture, smithsonian institution, is promoting material about whiteness and white culture on its website in an effort to discuss race, equity and inclusion. So lets do that with Fox News Contributor Leslie Marshall turning point usa president and executive director charlie kirk. Welcome to you both. Thank you. Hi, shannon. Shannon so we want to put up stomach samples of smithsonian talk about whiteness and white culture. It says it puts too much of an emphasis on individualism, hard work, objectivity, the nuclear family, progress, respect for authority, delayed gratification and more. Charlie, it says, you know, those are themes that white culture has accepted as the ones to pursue and because of that its become the dominant culture for the entire country. Im not so sure that theyre saying that its negative, but theyre certainly pointing out that its something that is about whiteness. What you make of this . Welcome i think its incredibly racist and divisive to try to attribute things that are applicable to all human beings by a specific race. You look at the black History Museum of which this was the page on the website. Conveniently they dont have Clarence Thomas as part of their museum, which is very interesting because he happens to be one of the few conservative black individuals that are outspoken in todays times and you look at this pamphlet and its a complete and total miss representation. For example, hardware, delayed gratification, the scientific method. You look throughout history, how about George Washington carver, black individual who discovered the peanut, one of the most agreeable scientists in World History if not american history. I think he believed in the scientific method. I dont think it was a construct of whiteness. Delayed gratification, how about Michael Jordan was probably one of the hardest working athletes of the last couple of decades back i think he believed in delayed gratification, those extra nights he put in to have an incredible sports career, probably one of the best in nba history if not the best. Finally, how about Oprah Winfrey, a multibillionaire woman with course believed in hard work, rugged individualism, pulling herself up by the bootstraps, all of these things are supposed to be a construct of whiteness . This is even a conversation in our country, this is divisive, this is designed to turn people against each other and its antihistory, antiscience, i am repulsed that our taxpayer dollars are funding this nonsense in his garbage. Shannon well, one of the reactions on twitter was this. White culture by feeling lazy, intolerant this has to be a . This is so racist this is so racist to people of color, i dont even know where to start. What you make of it, leslie . Well first of all, i find it interesting that charlie mentioned Oprah Winfrey and Michael Jordan, the two people that have been, as of late, very outspoken regarding the black lives matter movement. Which as we know is a movement not just by blacks or people of color, but by whites as well for crying crying out regarding racial injustice. As a white woman, did i ever have difficulty in my life . Absolutely. Did i ever have to work really hard . Absolutely. Do i remember my mother having to use food stamps . Absolutely. The difference is that when i wake up in the morning, or charlie, for that matter, being a caucasian male, we dont have to think about our race added into all of those elements of our daily lives. Oprah winfrey had to and still does, Michael Jordan, any person of color does. So the difference is, a white person, and this is what white privileges about about, a white person doesnt have to take their color into consideration when they do things, when they make choices, when they go for a job interview, for example, when the blue lights go off in their rearview mirror. And certainly people of color do. So i think its very valid when you look at all of the information there in that museum regarding this and you look at it within context and you look at its entirety and not just pieces of it. Shannon let me bring charlie and peered i find it reality buried shannon so its a context of whats being presented here. Is it important . Look, leslie, have to be honest, i always considered to be very reasonable. Not anymore, after what you just said. I mean, for you to try to say that what is being presented here i find it interesting you know me for years and your judgment on that. I let you finish your nonsense, let me finish mine. Shannon we will give suppertime, charlie. If we even entertain this incredible pernicious idea that hard work, the family, the scientific method, going to work is doing the right thing, is an afterward of the skin color than you are the racist. Youre the one that is trying to advance racial division. I believe in the american ethos. E Pluribus Unum come out of many, one. I dont think this is a white attribute or a black or to become i think this is a human being success flourishing attribute. I cannot believe that someone would defend Something Like this. Shannon yet. Okay, lemme give leslie quick final word here. I think its actually disgusting but you would form an opinion of me or anyone, whether positive or negative based on one thing that they say. Versus numerous things that theyve set over the years. One. Two, im offended that you would call me a racist. I think if anybody looks or my family portrait thats laughable. And in addition to that, i also think its terrible that we white people claim to know the struggle of any person of color. I certainly dont. I cant speak to that, and i do believe that the museum is. Shannon okay. All right, i do think you all agree on many abortive things, clearly not this. So we will leave it there. Leslie and charlie, please come back soon. Thank you. Thanks. Shannon all right, weeks of violent clashes in portland, millions in destruction and local leaders telling the feds to get out. President trump says dont count on it. Thats next. Bottom line is, moms love that land o frost premium sliced meats have no byproducts. [conference phone] baloney [conference phone] has joined the call. Hey baloney here. I thought this was a no byproducts call . Land o frost premium. A slice above. Shannon berkeley, california, moving forward tonight with a proposal to eliminate police from conducting traffic stops. Its all in a bid to illuminate alleged racial profiling. Instead of armed police officers, pulling over bad drivers, city transportation workers will be the ones handing out tickets. The city calls it transportation equity. You see Racial Disparities in terms of stops across the country in california. They are especially bad in berkeley in terms of stops of black individuals. Whatever driver is dui . Whatever driver is combative . Whatever driver does not pull over . Whatever driver is armed with a weapon . Shannon watch that one play out, meanwhile in oregon, the democratic governor and two u. S. Senators are criticizing President Trump for sending federal officers to portland to deal with protests that have been totally out of control. If not to mistreat as there have said up a socalled autonomous zone in the city park. Lets talk about the latest with seattle radio talk show host jason rantz. Welcome back, jason. Thanks for having me. Shannon so the mayor says he does not want federal forces there. Theyre using lifethreatening tactics. We dont want or need their help in portland. They definitely need help in portland. Right now the city leadership is not taking control of this newly formed or trying to form an autonomous zone similar to what happened in seattle with chop or chaz, although the autonomous territory, also known as klatt and its been as successful as the food boycott where they tried to get it going and federal officials and Police Last Night broken up within a couple hours. I was just on twitter to see where it stands right now. Theyre asking for folks to come down there with tenants and goods being put on in part by the Pacific Northwest youth were ablation front and its basically a bunch of teenagers who support antifa and their anticapitalist and they think theyre fighting the good fight. Meanwhile, federal officials are saying look, you cant just take over our buildings, youre not going to be able to destroy our buildings, we are going to push back and were going to make arrests even of the city of portland doesnt want to. Shannon and this has been going on for weeks, these demonstrations. Some of that we covered that when there was the real spike of looting and fires and all kinds of things across the country. Portland is part of that mix but while much of the country has died down, portland has not and its not gotten as much attention that, i mean, theres been a lot of violence there on a pretty regular basis over the last several weeks. Yeah, we are about six weeks and i think part of it might be inspired by the fact that they keep getting allowed to do this, right . When you dont have anyone to step into say you have to actually follow the law, lawlessness begets more lawlessness and maybe a little bit having to deal with portland not getting the attention that trap and seattle got, they decided to step up and to be truthful im in, look, portland and seattle share a lot of the same type of antifa folks, the activists and they go from city to city, so you know what, theres not a lot going on in seattle so they went on to portland in part to continue the cause, but this has nothing to do with george floyd.
