Emily as if this impeachment inquiry couldnt be messy enough all of a sudden, a couple of associates of Rudy Guiliani get arrested but what does it have to do with the impeachment inquiry . Well these two associates reportedly worked with guiliani under his direction to investigate hunter biden who was of course on the board of the ukraine gas company, while his father was Vice President and thats the whole thing that sort of spurred this impeachment inquiry, but the charges that they were arrested under on wednesday were not having to do with that work, this is having to do with the Campaign Finance violation, allegedly improperly funneling funds into prodonald trump superpack, through their company, but because of their connection with guiliani, plus this Campaign Finance issue, that this isnt clear that these are connected yet, but because of their connection with guiliani and with the investigation of hunter biden, these two are obviously being looked at very closely, and the more scrutiny on these two, even though there isnt a direct connection yet, it certainly adds to the House Democrats argument that there is definitely something fishy going on on the president and guiliani s side of things. Joe biden has been fundraising off of their arrests. But back to the two men who were arrested they were born in ukraine back when it was part of the soviet union they are now businessmen in florida, and they were arrested on charges of apparently funneling money to a Trump Campaign which in this particular circumstance is against the law but it has nothing to do with the whole ukraine investigation that Congress Wants to conduct, right certainly and i think thats key here.
