greta. The president says it was the Intelligence Community underestimating it. First of all in the military leaders take responsibility. They dont take credit. For this person, who has been receiving daily Intelligence Briefings that he has had left on his desk, has not been reading. For this president and for the entire world, who saw isis cross over the border into iraq take out fallujah and ramadi back in february, he referred to them as a Junior Varsity team, jv team, obviously he underestimated. Can i guarantee you when you go back and look at the former director of defense and intelligence agency, everywhere was tracking isis, everyone was tracking exactly what they were doing. All isis is al qaeda in iraq who has been rebranded, retooled, refitted and now they have come back. Josh earnst, White House Press secretary said today the president has complete confidence in the Intelligence Community. This after he threw them under the bus last night. Thats the double speak. Thats them coming in now. The white house mouth piece has to it try to clean this up. Because, if the president
was honest, if the Obama Administration was honest with the fact that they are playing politics not practicality on the ground. It goes to not keeping a residual force and understanding who isis is. When you come up and isis not islamic. Are they men mennonites or amish . They have overtaken, overrun 60 kurdish villages and last week they overran an iraqi army base. How does anyone keep their job in the veterans administration. Thats the entire fallacy in the administration. No one is responsible. You have different information than the president throwing the Intelligence Community under the bus. Thats right. A military intelligence source told fox news that there were options on the table for the president and his team to target the leadership of this group, isis as well as the khorasan which is this Al Qaeda Groupin syria for at least 18 months leading up to the recent strikes in syria. So so this completely undercuts the idea that the Intelligent Community was not on top of who the leadership was and was not tracking them in a very active way. How does the president get this information . He would get that in specialized briefings. How often . I dont have the time frame. I dont want to give your viewers bad information. But, you would have a specialized briefing from the special Operations Command because they would be putting together these targeting packages. What i know separately and i feel comfortable discussing on the air is that this information about the rise of isis as well as khorasan was in the president s daily brief for well over a year. This is the highly classified assessment that is delivered to him on a daily basis. Is the Intelligence Community tonight, you have heard any information that they are grumbling that the president threw them under the bus . What im hearing from people is when president bush, after 9 11 realized what the error had been, he was willing to declassify the president s daily brief
to show people what information was available to him. And im hearing from people in the Intelligence Community that president obama should do the same thing. So the American People can see what exactly he was given and whether he was blind sided or whether he was given adequate information that should have been acted on. President bushhow soon after . Time period . Grace period of some sort . Thats the hardest question. I would have to go back and give you a good answer. You but he did release them. And thats the test here. Will this president be willing to release this information and let the public decide for themselves whether he was given adequate warning or whether, in fact, James Clapper and the Intelligence Community let him down. syrian army battalions. They have a lot of concern. They have been at this three and a half years against assad. They see assad creator of isis, creating in essence this vacuum of leadership or isis has come in behind the free syrian army. They are very worried. All right. Its sort of curious that you say that you met with the leadership of free syrian army. Last week secretary of defense hagel didnt know who they were. Yeah. I mean its interesting. You have many different p saudi arabia and whole ball of wax. What is the syrian army
saying about the Obama Administration . They are very disappointed. They look at it as you are willing to go into iraq. We are giving you freedom on the platter and you are turning your back on us. They are angry. They support the isis strike but to them still the bigger enemy is sad. They are worried about us not attacking assad. They think even a nofly zone would be beneficial. There is a real humanitarian crisis. There is no really good options in syria because we waited too long. The president evidently didnt see this coming, even though many of us did. Also khorasan, the Al Qaeda Group there as well. Thats right. Yeah. Thats a big issue, too. The problem is this has spread into iraq. Today when you look at iraq, i have a hard time seeing how the kurds, as tough as they are at fighting are going to be able to lib rate large swaths of iraqi territory. They already have a thousand mile border. How effective have our air strikes been in syria . In syria i i think they have disturbed isis a little bit. They definitely have not halted the advance with isis moving into border towns
with turkey in iraq they did stop the momentum. Irbill was very much threatened. Ready to fall. It stopped the movement of isis there. It is not dislodging them. In order to bring the Iraqi Military and Kurdish Forces to liberate that is going to take a lot of work. Asked for lone wolfs to attack the United States. We have killed some of the leadership but i heard somebody the other day say we dont believe that those strikes actually stopped any kind of an attack on the homeland. But isis has made it clear in social media and otherwise that they want to attack the homeland of the United States, too. They are just, instead of the being the Khorasan Group which takes advantage of a bad situation to plan attacks on the United States, they are focused on establishing their state first and exporting their terror here. It will be much tougher to defeat. We have the problem with turkey with all those refugees from syria flowing
into turkey. And iraq i went through refugee camp in iraq. I thought this december it was terrible. A 13yearold girl with her brother, thats 5 years old with Cerebral Palsy with no medical attention and she is taking care of him because their parents were killed by isis. 97yearold people couldnt even leaf their homes they left with the clothes on their back. I want to say this to folks too say thats over there it doesnt matter or just let everybody kill each other. Its a real human tragedy and the innocent are the ones who get killed. President obama is so hung up on not being the war president that he sounds, well, silly. He wont admit the obvious. President obama refusing to say we are at war with isis. Are you saying that this is not really a war . What im saying is that we are assisting iraq in a very real battle thats taking place on their soil with their troops but we are providing air support. This is not america against isil. This is america leading the International Community to assist a country with whom we have a Security Partnership with. Okay. He could not possibly think we are not at war with isis. Is he lobbing hundreds of tomahawk missiles blow up others including americans thats called war. Does president obama think the American People are so naive that if he says it isnt war or dodges the question that we will think we are not at war . Think about it. If someone were lobbing hundreds of tomahawk missiles into the United States or dropping fighter bombs on the u. S. Capitol we would say it is war because it is war. You just cant sugar coat it mr. The way an ideology works in this circumstance is its a screen over perception. Facts come in that contradict it and the ideology rejects the facts. Thats why he is not reading his briefing books. The whole thing is weird. He throws the Intelligence Community under the bus unless of course he is right on that. We dont know. He hasnt released the briefing so we know for sure. He appears to throw them under the bus. He wont call this a war, yet, he is sending missiles
into drones into yemen and north pakistan and every place else to kill people. Now we have got this situation. I dont know why is he so hung up on not calling it war. Just to satisfy a 2008 Campaign Slogan . I dont get it. Well, it is silly. But it conceals, i think, the reality of the failure of the administrations grasping what was happening. Not two months ago or three months ago but 8 or the months ago when isil or isis was overrunning ramadi and fallujah. They were all saying this group is strong and growing stronger there, it was 8 or 9 months ago. Is there a debate to be had . Is it possible we are not at war when he we are firing these missiles and trying to kill people and he theyre trying to kill other people. The president himself has said that isis shoulden destroyed and he we are going to use american air assets to do it. If thats not the definition of war i honestly dont understand what it could be. Its the largest financier of state supporter of terrorism. 197. The terrorist threat is not just isis. Its iran. It seems like negotiated with iran about their Nuclear Weapons program has been iran running out the clock. They keep getting extensions which is fine. Like isis keeps building its force. Time is on its side. Theyre working on their programs. Exactly. And thats why iran would be content to continue to negotiate as long as it could break through the sanctions even more, which is what president rooney offered in his speech at the General Assembly last week. Is it just around the corner or not . It is just around the corner if they wanted to rush to build one nuclear weapon. I think they could do it in a couple of months. They are building a a much more sophisticated, much more extensive network. Nuclear infrastructure that will turn out dozens of Nuclear Weapons. Is the Intelligence Community underestimating iran. I dont think they are under estimating it. I think they are in a mystical land where they say we dont know for sure that they are really Building Nuclear weapon which is edge the only explanation for
