Evidence to justify finding the suspect they calls faycal c. The man in the surveillance tape. Theyre back to the beginning of that. Meanwhile, three more people are being held on terror charges. Among them, police arresting a man believed to be connected in a separate plot that was set to attack paris. Mike tobin is live in brussels. Mike, whats the latest on this continuing and heated investigation . Reporter well, it is a setback. The largest cache investigators thought they had has been released. Protocol has to go before the judge and has to justify holding him. And that investigating judge determined there was not enough evidence to hold faycal c. Terrorist murder, attempted terrorist murder and activities in a terrorist organization and now hes free to go. There is now that investigators have released the cctv video. The third bomb did not go off. Local media reported that the third bomber was faycal c. We know thats not the case. Regardless, hes free to go. And the mysterious murderer is at large. And the setback comes at a sad time that the Health Department has said that the death toll from the deadly attacks has risen to 35. That is because four people succumbed to the injuries received in the blast. 96 people are hospitalized. 32 of them are in the burn unit. One person is flying back to the United States to be treated. Martha. All the ramifications from this bombing, its just awful. The more we learn about it the more we learn how brutal it really was. In terms of the investigation, mike, as it moves forward, what are the investigators finding out . Well, the investigators certainly have been busy. They hit 13 houses yesterday. Four people arrested. Three of them now charged with participation with the activities of a terrorist organization. There was a raid that was carried out yesterday in rotterdam. And that apparently is linked back to a raid last thursday in paris. The man picked up in paris was described by an interior minister as a high level operative. And as far as what was taken in the rotterdam raid yeele yielde phones and sim cards. They communicate through apps on smartphones. And you have this very complex web spread out over a number of countries and were also seeing a lot of connections between the brussels bombings and the paris attacks. Martha. The raids and arrests that mike was just describing over the weekend in belgium in paris, in the netherlands, add to the evidence that this network is bigger in europe than anyone originally thought. Authorities making more connections between them. As mike just said the brussels bombing and the paris attack. And even saying that they thwarted an upcoming attack believed to having arranged for paris. Its bring in general jack dean. You know, general, my mind goes back to the days after the paris attack in november when there was discussion that there were hundreds of people with european passports. And yet, there was a smaller number who had u. S. Passports that had gone back and forth to syria to train. But this beast is looking larger than anybody thought. Yeah, absolutely. Certainly, the intelligence and Security Forces in europe underestimated the size of this network. Police forces in belgium are absolutely overmatched. Theyve got 11 million people. 12,000 police over five jurisdictions. You think in new york city, 8 m million people, 30,000 police in terms of that, wider protection. 800 sympathizers to isis alone in the molenbeek neighborhood where abdeslam was captured. There on the terms of the scale of the problem is significant. Secondly, they dont coordinate very well in sharing intel grens one country to the another. And march that, the fundamental problem is European Countries and belgium has got to recognize that theyve have war against the united statnations. Thus, why would we be releasing somebody who has suspected terrorist activities even though we dont have the evidence to go to court. Thats criminal activity. That person should be detained based on the General Information that we have. Secondly, abdeslam who was captured for 24 hours in the hospital he was never questioned. And then on the second day, hes only questioned for two hours, because they found him to be tired as a result of his wounds. I mean, we should have been putting pressure on him. They held him for four days prior to this horrific attack that weve all so saddened by. And there was an opportunity, possibly, to prevent the attack, because, certainly, he knew all the players. Again, treating it as a criminal activity, gathering evidence to convict him of a crime, versus driving to get intelligence out of him. I mean, what youre describing is so unbelievable. What is it that they dont get . Because they have to know now that the next bomb is literally around the corner. That if they uncover these networks how many more are there in apartments around the area. Theyre just not serious about this. And yet, its a major problem that we have. Look at nato. Nato is a Major Organization itself. A major intelligence capability. Obviously Major Military capability. Nato is sitting on its hands, doesnt want to invoke article 5. Two countries, and yet nato has not responded in one way or another. They have hughe resources to apply here and they dont want to. Why is that . Theyre sitting on their hands, theyre not serious. It sounds that donald trump might be on to something in the foreign pose discussion that they had, and pointing to nato saying theyre simply not responding to the terrorist threat right in their jurisdiction. Yeah, it absolutely is. And certainly, the military cooperation that theyve had for years is a boiler plate with how to do things properly. Thats got to be married up with the Police Intelligence system and get after this thing. But mostly, martha, this is about the leaders coming forward and getting serious about whats taking place here. And uniting from an intelligence perspective. And also making up your mind youre going to so to the source. So weve got more than 70 people who were killed in Terrorists Attack a busy park in pakistan where families were playing together on easter sunday, general. 14 of those killed were identified as christians. 44 of them identified as muslims. Most of the victims women and small children. A splinter Taliban Group that has publicly said they now support isis has claimed responsibility on this. Your thoughts on this attack . Well the radical islamists have a strategic hand that theyre launching that transcends the traditional radical islamist groups. The main tenor of that campaign is to drive conditions and muslims and jews out to making it virtually inhabitable for them. That is taking place in the middle east. Its taking place in africa. Its taking place in south asia. And it is by all means a strategic campaign. The director of the United Nations said listen, radical islamism is morphing into a global problem. Its now a global jihad and it is worsening. And we sit here today with no strategy to cope with that. Political and religious leaders are not trying to undermine this ideology. Were not organizing ourselves to deal with it. And we certainly have no strategy. And this is going to continue. And obviously, they just dont make war on christians and jews. They make war on what they believe are nonbelievers, shias as well. They are serious. This is a spreading cancer that the world is facing and we have yet to organize ourselves to cope with it. And they seem very organized and focused in their goal which is, agency you say, to drive people out. And we want to do the same, drive the terrorists out of the area. General, always good to talk to you. Same here, martha. Lets go to the race to the white house for a moment. We are just a week away from the next battleground in the republican contest. Candidates gearing up for the wisconsin primary which comes next. Its got 42 delegates as a prize. And foxs blake berman joins us live in wisconsin today. Blake, governor kasich is changing around his game plan . Reporter yes, he is indeed, martha. Were southwest of minneapolis, minnesota. The governor is on stage behind us. Well keep our voices down just a bit. He is in the middle of a town hall here at river spill. The campaign announcing that theyre taking money out of resources in certain congressional districts and putting it in other districts. Youre right, 42 delegates are at play here. The way things are broken down, part are awarded by whoever wins the popular vote, the other by congressional district. For donald thump to continue his march to 1237, he needs 53 , 54 of delegates to win. The Kasich Campaign is trying t winning a couple of congressional districts here. Three delegates per congressional districts. So if they can pick up a few of the congressional districts they feel they can essentially stop trump in his tracks. At least here in wisconsin. Blake, thank you very much. Big news in georgia. Religious freedom fight today. Im going to tell you what the governor has decided to do about the religious freedom bill in that state. A lot of people watching that for you. Well tell what you the latest is. How many times have you tried to cross the street and people are bumping into you because theyre texting, right . Its been known to a rise in recent deaths. They could be fined up to 50 for texting and walking. Not just new jersey an even tougher bill in hawaii who have fined people 150 for crossing the street while use their electronic device. There are major battles now over the freedom bill. To deny services to those who they say violate their religious beliefs. The governor has Just Announced hell veto it. Jonathan serrie is here to boil it down for us. What does this mean . Hi, nathan diaz said the bill would be best addressed by what he described as the broad protections of the first amendment, and not some new state legislation. Take a listen. In light of our history, i find it somewhat ironic that some in the religious Community Today feel that it is necessary for governor to confer upon them certain rights. Reporter the government would have allowed faithbased institutes in the state to deny services and jobs to persons who violate religious beliefs. But opponents said the bill was a thinly veiled attempt to discriminate against georgias gay community. Martha. So whats the reaction so far to this . As you can imagine, martha, reaction to the governors announcement has been mixed. The whole issue put the governor in the cross hairs of two major government constituencies. On the one side, you have the business community, by and large, opposing this bill, fearing that any sense of discrimination would scare companies from setting up shop in the state and hurt georgias growing film industry. But social conservatives regards this bill as a top priority. Overwhelming support in the house and senate. And the governor is is counting on the people in georgia vetoing this legislation. So in some extreme cases you have some advocates on one side questioning the governors moral character if he were to veto this bill. And then other advocates on the other side threatening to take jobs out of state, if he were to sign the bill. Addressing both extremes, governor deal said, quote, i do not respond well to insults or threats. Martha. Very interesting. Jonathan, thank you very much. It happens sometimes, there is once again a situation coming from houston. The Fire Department telling us that window washers are stuck in an uptown business tower. They cant get down, folks. So, they apparently were up there and the power went out. And now theyre stuck. And so, the police and the Fire Department are keeping an eye on the situation. And theyre hoping the power will come back on. And then they can kind of get the Police Working and get these guys down. I dont know why they cant do it without power. We will see. So far, they seem to be relatively calm. And well check on them to make sure all ends well there. More window washers stranded. This time in houston, texas. So another unusual and rather serious travel delay. A copilot with major American Airlines arrested just before the plane was to take off. Who wants to drive with a drunk pilot, right . The state department saying that it welcomes the removal of the Islamic State from the historic area of palmyra. In syria, the unbelievably historic area has been basically shred to ruins. That they dont know yet how this move on the part of the Syrian Military will impact the peace process. The assad regime troops, backed by russian air support, cleared much of the ancient city over the weekend. But isis had already destroyed huge parts of the city. Much of what youre looking at on the lefthand side does not exist anymore. Some experts shocked at the damaged artifacts in the citys museum. Isis also demolished two large temples that dated back nearly 2,000 years. But left several important archeological sites and ruins intact. They also beheaded the 80yearold archaeologist who ran that site several months ago. Fox alert now, Ted Cruz Making a stop at a restaurant. For seven years, weve had a president who goes on National Television and lectures americans on islamophobia. If i am elected president , we will utterly and completely destroy isis. Jihadists across the globe, theyre day of reckoning is coming. And ill tell you, theyre in wisconsin. People are hungry for economic growth. Weve been wages stagnant. My number one priority as president will be jobs and economic growth, bringing jobs back to america. Driving wages back up again so people can work an honest job and provide for their families and achieve the american dream. If im elected president , we will repeal every word of obamacare. We will pass a simple flat tax and abolish the irs. We will rein in the regulations and stop amnesty and secure the border. Ted cruz, familiar topics, isis, jobs, obamacare, on the campaign trail where the focus is in wisconsin. Hes at altoona at a family restaurant. No doubt making a lot of stops today. For now, lets get you this story. An American Airlines copilot arrested, accused of showing up for work drunk at around 7 00 a. M. In the morning. The faa says he was scheduled for a flight from detroit to philadelphia. That flight was cancelled because he failed the breathalyzer test. Thank goodness they had one going for him in the morning. And he also failed the field sobriety test. Live in dallas, what more have we learned here and have they pressed charges against this pilot . Well, martha, this is absolutely terrifying. We know hes 51 years old and hes from pennsylvania. A passenger just happened to snap a photo of all of this going down and out to social media. Look at that, you can see the pilot being handcuffed and being led away by police. Authorities were called to the detroit airport early sunday morning after a tsa agent noticed the copilot was acting strangely. Officials say the man failed two different breathalyzer tests. The flight eventually cancelled leaving passengers not only stranded, but stunned. Thats kind of scary because, you know, hes supposed to be, you know, on an airplane, and its supposed to be safe. And hes actually drunk while riding in the plane. Thats crazy. Back in january, you may remember an Alaska Airlines pilot was arrested for allegedly flying a plane drunk on two separate flights, martha. Whats American Airlines saying about this, casey . Well, i just got off the phone with them not too long. The folks over at corporation for American Airlines still tight lipped for most the details. They wont say how long hes been employed. They did release a statement, im quoting, is this a serious matter and we are assisting local Law Enforcement and the federal Aviation Administration with the investigation. We will handle this matter appropriately as the safety and care of our customers and employees is our highest priority. Federal law says that a pilot may not about allowed to fly a plane if they have consumed alcohol eight hours prior. Martha. Good thing tsa was paying attention. You wonder about the other people on that plane, including the other pilot what they noticed as well. Kasey,
