What that means is, at the end of all of our interviews, however long that takes, if someone is able to be charged in this investigation, we will bring them to justice. What did you tell us about the phone calls he is reported to have been made while he was inside while the shooting was in progress . Unfortunately, because they are subject to the investigation, they are a matter of federal evidence. I can confirm there were phone calls made. We have them. We continue to review them and analyze them, not just in content but where they came from, where they originated from or where with the calls were terminated. Is that credible . Some witnesses have said that . I dont have any knowledge of him patronizing any other clubs than this one. When we are giving leads for potential terrorist information, they have to meet a certain set of criteria before we can initiate an investigation. Thats based on the totality of the circumstance at that time. Its kind of a nebulous question at this point. [ inaudible ] i will tell you that were looking at everything and i cant say whether it is specifically looking to the casing. We are looking at everything he did leading up to this attack, and as the director pointed out, we are going backwards as well to look at all of the things we knew about before and things that weve investigated in the past. This is an investigation that has an no finite end at this particular time. That goes for the beginning. Were going to go back even further than we did, if thats possible. Are you still ruling out the possibility of [ inaudible ] the investigation is ongoing at this time but the deceased subject is the main subject of this investigation. We are continuing to do interview to see if there is anybody thats associated, whether involved in the planning or execution of this act, they will be brought to justice if and when we identify someone. [ inaudible question ] thats not something i can confirm for you at this time. Can you say whether there were or were not explosives found at this club . S. She just asked that. The crime scene as i mentioned earlier is still being processed and it would be premature for me to comment on that at this time. Have you interviewed the father . I dont have any information on that. Im sorry. That was done down in the Miami Division and i dont have that information. Can you tell us the timeline between the first gunshots and the second i cant comment on that. How many hours . Any other questions . [ inaudible question ] cant comment on that at this time. This was an act of violence born out of hate that inflicted terror on an entire community. I would call it a hate crime. I would call it terrorism. It is both. Is the shooters car still here . That is still a matter of federal evidence. It is still in our custody. [ inaudible question ] thats a good question. I can tell you that we are combing not just the street but everywhere we believe the shooter to have been, as i mentioned, in the coming days before this event. We are collecting all digital, video, electronic evidence that we can. I would ask anyone out there that thinks they may have something of fbi concern, bring it too us no matter how small. As ive said before, as i said today, we do not know when charges will be finalized, to answer your question. Indeed, were not sure what charges will be brought, or if charges will be brought. I can assure you that we are working with our Law Enforcement partners to find everything we can about what happened in the pulse nightclub. Were using all Law Enforcement and legal tools to reconstruct not only the events of that nig night, but events over the past several months, not only with respect to what the shooter did in orlando, what he did in ft. Pierce. This is an exhaustive a review of evidence as you will find in the United States. Were leaving no stone your honor turned, but we simply cannot speculate on the timing of charges or whether there will be charges. It would really be unfair to not only any main person with respect to charges, but also to the public. We want to keep the public well informed and we do not want to invite idle speculation that will only hamper our efforts. We cannot put a time limit on that. The only limit we have is that were going to go until were absolutely satisfied that weve uncovered every bit of evidence thats out there and weve reviewed every possible charge. Thats when this investigation will end. It might be a matter of days. Could be weeks. Could be years. There is simply no way to determine at this time how long the investigation will last. Attorney of the middle district of florida reiterating here many leads are still being pursued. The fbi still asking anybody in this part of florida, anybody whos in orlando, anybody who may have run in to omar mateen or even his wife, noor salmon, in the most recent days, weeks or months who may have a tip, no matter how insignificant or how small you think it is, the fbi wants you to call it in to their number 1800callfbi. The crime scene inside the pulse nightclub, still an intense crime scene. Many investigators there still doing trajectory analysis as well as crime scene mapping. The fbi is trying to get the most complete picture of the horror that unfolded sunday morning so that the public and the families of the 49 victims, as well as those of the 53 wounded customers and patrons of the pulse nightclub can find out anything they want. As far as an arrest and ultimate charge against the wife, the u. S. Attorney would not speculate. Im not going to speculate today as to any charges that may be brought or indeed about whether any charges will be brought in this case. It is premature to do so. And they have not been convicted of any crime. Theyve not been charged or tried for any crime and were taking away their rights preemptivety. Another tragedy striking florida where a 2yearold boy was dragged off by an alligator while vacationing in disney world. The boit was ply was playing at of the lake the a the resort with his family nearby when he was snatched and attacked. Once on scene we determined that this 2yearold child was playing at the edge of the water, probably a foot or so into water, when this alligator came up and attacked the child. The father did his best. He tried to rescue the child. However, to no avail. Our own peter doocy now live in lake bueno vista. Reporter the latest is the sheriff tells me it took just seconds for the gator to grab the boy, wrestle him away from his dad who was trying to maintain his grip, and then swim away with the toddler. The sheriff also says that based on witness accounts of the 2yearold disappearing under the water, he has no doubt the boy is dead. Theyve operated here for 45 years, disney has, and theyve never had this type of thing happen before. Reporter this happened in an area without no swimming signs but no beware of alligator signs. They are searching the area around the manmade body of water but wildlife Officials Say there are mechanical systems in place that are complicating their efforts. They have no plans to call this search off. If they cannot find the boy today, they will come back tomorrow. So far five gators found here last night and today have been euthanized. Wildlife officials looked inside them though and found nothing. You understand the prevalence of gators there. Should there have been different signage at the foot of this lake . Yeah, i think theyre going to rethink that. You need to make people understand why no swimming. People think no swimming at all. They think we cant swim. They think there is an undercurrent or something else. People understand that gators can be found in any of these fresh water bodies of water. They will rethink letting their kids go in these areas of water. Bottom line is there are over 1 million alligators in the state of florida. Their populations have exploded. Were going to see more and more of these types of conflicts as time goes on.
