Ok has this wind chime Betty or. Are I. I know it's a little chilly out this morning but it is. Getting off on. A nice week guard goddesses Saturday mornings at 9 here on f.m. Little 15 am 150 k. High. For Washington to Wall Street. America's 1st years with. Good Tuesday morning America's 1st news continues on this day of August 6 minutes past the hour and we start this hour outside of the u.s. London police say an incident in which a car was driven into a barrier near the Houses of Parliament appears to be a deliberate terror attack metropolitan police say no one is in life threatening condition following the crash armed police swooped in on the area cordoning off streets around Parliament Square one man arrested a bus driver gave this eyewitness account to Sky News program through a good light soft. If I cut it down if you drove into the fireplace last looks like coming out of the coffee so I stopped the possibility so I like the boss and just saying this is like we don't know if you know yet but it's nearly 2 Westy said you know we can't go no we don't know what's up what's up with saw that nasty fight you know the most sorry for me my buddies may come eat so they went but it cost rates but enough to know we have to buy stuff so I would get rich in fact if I had the guts to be going to go forbid they try to set off you off to the dock not see are we going to what's up and so. Far from the boat but I'll tell you why we have to be thinking about doing that not just the place he was going off about it was by no means you get the impression of that it has been a regular road traffic collision on top was caught I will be able to say that it seemed the best Was think it's going to get out of traffic I've got to do this if I did so I was going to walk so I was driving to the dock by now the car slammed into those barriers that have been extended following the Westminster Bridge attack last year when Collegium a suit plowed a car into crowds killing 4 people also outside of the us and this morning Italian authorities say about 10 vehicles have been involved in a highway collapse it happened during a sudden and violent storm in the northern port city of Genoa a private broadcaster said a $200.00 metre section of the Marandi bridge collapsed Tuesday over an industrial zone that's caused concerns about gas lines in the area police on Twitter said the collapse occurred during a sudden violent storm while firefighters had vehicles were involved indicating the likelihood of fatalities photos published by the Anson News Agency showed a huge gulf between 2 sections of the highway video captured the sound of a several people screaming Oh God they're images show the cream truck that it stopped on the bridge just yards away from that gaping hole in the bridge back stateside President Donald Trump is daring New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to challenge him in 2020 in remarks made Monday night at a fundraiser in. Upstate New York the president said Cuomo promised it would run against him so they want to raise your taxes they want to open your borders you know they want to open borders Ok they want those borders to be open so nice and wide let everybody flow in and they think they're going to be Democrats right that probably are maybe who knows they might not but they want to come in that's one of the reasons I really believe that's one of the reasons because a lot of other reasons I don't think a lot of sense but they want open borders they don't mind crime because it comes with open borders so obviously they don't mind they hate ice because ice you know is rough and tough and that's what we need with certain kinds of people I don't think that m s 13 fully understands the niceties of life giving. So these people are great people these are great people but they're strong people they're tough people what's what we need they don't like law enforcement they don't want to take care of law enforcement they don't take care of our military they don't want to take care of our vets. Other than that defense testicular that other than that was that it was I but you better be careful because you do have that big big gun plant How far is that down the road Where's one mile down the road when you better be careful because they want to and your 2nd Amendment and they're putting a big move on it and Cuomo wants and your 2nd Amendment more than it. Was Well no one should take away your 2nd Amendment now he called me and he said I'll never run for president against you but maybe you want to still oh please do what I. Did say that he did that maybe yes maybe you meant. The one thing we know they do say anybody that runs against Drunk suffers so the challenge came as the president raised money for the reelection of Republican congresswoman Claudia Tenney it was his 1st visit to Utica Utica as president an area he won in 2016 Well speaking of elections Democrats are fighting to beat back Republican gains across the Midwest as the primary season roars through Wisconsin and Minnesota today Tuesday's contest for governor of the u.s. Senate and the House will test the strength the president trumps coalition against Democratic resistance in all 4 states will host primaries Tuesday as the 28000 season nears its final chapter all but 10 states will have picked their candidates for November's general election by the time all votes are counted in Wisconsin Minnesota Vermont and Connecticut. In West Virginia lawmakers have completed the extraordinary task of impeaching all 4 state Supreme Court justices that happen Monday night that for spending issues including a suspended justice facing a 23 count federal indictment the state house of delegates voted to impeach justice Allen Lowery on 8 articles setting the stage for a trial in the state Senate that Walker became the final justice to be impeached when an article was approved as slating that all 4 justices abused their authority now it said they failed to control office expenses including more than a $1000000.00 in renovations to their individual offices and not maintaining policies over matters such as working lunches and the use of state vehicles and office computers at home take us with you wherever you go download the talk stream live free mobile app reach out to yours truly on social media Twitter or Facebook I met Matt rate talk use the hash tag Up next White House staffers signing non-disclosure agreements So what does that mean for the and her new book An in-depth look coming up right here on America's 1st news. Day morning America's 1st news continues on this report to the day of August new this morning a state judge has cleared the way for 5 defendants who are arrested on child abuse charges at a New Mexico compound to be released pending trial but despite authorities suspicion that the group was training the kids for school shootings prosecutors presented evidence that. Provided some of the children with firearms training defense attorneys argued the prosecutors were unfairly painting their clients as armed Muslim militants as the rifles and handguns are common guns that commute bought at retail stores and their clients made no aggressive efforts to defend their compound as a. Ortiz closed in President Trump's advisor Kellyanne Conway this week confirmed that the White House quote absolutely has staffers sign confidentiality agreements like the one rejected by former aide Amorosa manacled Newman she said that after she was fired she was offered a post in the campaign with a $15000.00 a month salary and the non-disclosure agreement which would have barter from disparaging trump she claimed as Sean Spicer signed one of those Let's bring in our guest this morning Jenna Alice is a contributor to The Washington Examiner as Beltway confidential blog she's also the Director of Public Policy at the James Dobson Family Institute a constitutional attorney and author of the legal basis for a moral constitution Jenna thank you for joining us this morning on America's 1st news good morning thanks so much for having me 1st I want to talk about these nondisclosure agreements and whether or not they can be upheld in a court of law then I want to get into the recordings. As I mentioned Conway on Sunday saying the White House absolutely has staffers sign those now press secretary former press secretary Sean Spicer denies signing it but but are these enforceable Given these are public employees. Well the bottom line here is the White House is fully within its legal right to protect confidential information by use of non-disclosure agreements just because they're the government absolutely doesn't mean that these types of contracts are not enforceable by law the issue here isn't whether or not it's it's been in the a or whether it's the government as a party issue would be what type of contract they were actually entering into so generally speaking these are governed by contract watch her arms and and that's the world that the court will the pieces be governed by switch talking about civil court not criminal courts and so when people are talking about potential criminal charges for Omar if there are people who greets these types of agreements that's not the world that these live and these are these are civil we enforced and absolutely I mean these are things that the government contractors sign these are things that just because the government is one already that on its face doesn't mean that these wouldn't be enforceable so but she says that she did not sign it so I would imagine with that she's in the clear just that aspect of it. Well in that sense I mean 1st do we really trust her credibility at this point I mean right it depends if there is a valid legally enforceable nondisclosure agreement that she did sign the next question then becomes is the information that she disclosed part of that the confidential information that's covered by a non-disclosure agreement generally fees are written well by it's money then they will cover any information will be general to be the type of information that would have been available by the employee and but for her working in the White House she would have never had access to the information that she obtained and so the question would then become is this particular recording in The Situation Room for example and disseminating that information a violation of an agreement that she did did sign if she finds one Ok so outside of signing one you mentioned her trust were trustworthiness a lot of people of mentioned that including April Ryan now I mean top to bottom left to right it doesn't matter everybody is questioning her trustworthiness the recording inside of the situation room and these other recordings that she has. That seems to I'm not a an attorney which is why you have you on but that seems like a big breach of national security. Yeah and you know most of the time for anyone who is in these types of areas particularly the situation room you know there are there are rules that particularly in what they call guess which is the you know the acronym for a they can claim information facility and so they have rules for that for anything whether you work directly for the government whether you're a government contractor when there are sensitive information then you're generally not allowed to take a 2 way communication device in to those type. They're rooms because they don't want you to have the ability not only to see the Lety got to record but also the ability to transmit any information like text messaging like to a 'd cell phone calls and so you can't bring a person by the to the very fact that she somehow got her phone in there is a in my You've definitely a definite with burning and is a violation but also just shows what type of person that she would be that she would be thinking that far ahead that she has this recorded conversation and he she ever did use it in her own heart somehow I mean most p
