She joins us live from where the shooting happened. Reporter kathy and tom police say the man inside the home advanced with a knife towards officers and refused to comply with orders to drop it. One officer deployed his taser but police say when that did not work they opened fire. Out of the house on fox and ellsworth investigators entered Wearing Masks and the house with a sign that reads the visitors after 10 pm and shade covered windows is now surrounded by red caution tape. Officers responded to the home just before 3 am on saturday to pick up a man that was wanted but the suspect inside who police say was armed with a knife that did not come out without a fight. Police ended up firing shots of the suspect hitting him and he happen and too bad they could not have got him out without killing him. But it is what it is. Several others were in the home at the time the shooting including one man who police say head on the roof and a fire truck crane lifted swat officers to the rooftop where police took him into custody. This is not something you would expect to happen especially here and so it is a shock to the neighborhood. A committee and a baker neighborhood that uneventful except for the house on the corner where police have been called before, a house that neighbors say is an eyesore not just for what is in it but also for what happens there. We asked police that they could confirm what kind of activity was going on inside that home and they were not able to give us that information. The suspect who was shot by police as i had his identity for 17yearold accused of shooting his brother which happened earlier this morning at near the csu foothills campus and there is no word on what led to the shooting or the victims condition. Out near Cheyenne Wells out and Cheyenne County until 5 30 pm theres a severe thunderstorm, lightning, small, quarter sized hail and up to 60 Miles Per Hour winds , that could be problematic but that is the only deal we have going. This is what looks like around the metro, brian the city and their storms trying to get going but with the running to the dry air they tend to fall apart. At the worst we may see if you sprinkle tonight and what a warm day, low 80s here and by kickoff is 7 pm it should be around 77. There is a small chance of a sprinkle going through with a thunderstorm passing by but it is 5 or less on chances so i would not even take an umbrella eared halftime, 70 and partly cloudy and by the Fourth Quarter it should be around 66 and so by the end of the game it gets kind of cool but hopefully. Youre headed out there already you better hurry up and take no umbrella but his letter, thank you. And is dave mentioned the broncos can raise it a good feel for the third preseason game in their hosting the Los Angeles Rams tonight at six, excuse me 7 pm. Michael spencers life and michael once again all eyes were on the quarterbacks. Reporter it is a little bit like dij vu, were talking last week about how that was probably the game where hopefully one of the quarterbacks with separate themselves but that happen and so here we are again this week. Going into tonights game against los angeles this job is Trevor Siemians to you lose, he will get the start and we expect him to play if not all the first half a majority of it. Part of the reason that neither Trevor Siemian or mark sanchez separated themselves last week was because of the turnover issues, trevor had the pick six and mark had those two fumbles but it appears going into the day it is trevors job to lose into their minds going into tonights game. I do not think as a quarterback that you can be trigger shy because you get in trouble that way, just learning from and moving on. Ago play free and have fun. Trust your preparation and trust your experience. Remember were playing a game so have a good time and do not be afraid to smile and get after it and leave those guys. Tonights game is widely regarded as a dress rehearsal for th which means we will see more the defense and will talk more about that coming up in sports and more on paxton lynch and his progress coming up.
