I don't. Think I'm sorry you know 5640 below here to here on a March 24 Friday big momentous day. One of the good things about President Trump is virtually every day is a big momentous day Well today is a little bit more momentous much like George Orwell in Animal Farm today the us pigs are a little bit more equal than they normally would be and so what is going on today well it has to do with yesterday yesterday the American Care Act was to be voted on and I had said and I'm not genius and say this by the way I mean a lot of people have said this is that if there weren't enough votes to pass it Paul Ryan speaker of the house would postpone the vote and that is precisely what happened. And so now the vote is going to happen today even though both the president and Paul Ryan were adamant about yesterday having the vote done I mean it's going to happen Sean Spicer come came out and his nose grew even longer yesterday and said. It's going to be today we know it's going to be today and it was hilarious when reporters going what if it's not today it's going to be today that was his answer well to now now today we're going to be asking Sean Spicer if a single day in the world is 48 hours instead of $24.00 maybe we have our science a little bit off the earth rotates every 48 hours it's hilarious Ok so the vote did not happen last night so now it's going to be today cross my heart hope to die we're going to have the vote today all right fair enough now this happens a lot Incidentally it's we if you look at controversial bills the way it works is usually the speaker of the house because it's a bill that's controlled or a bill it's passed by the prevailing party of the house that's virtually all of them and it's especially important in a close vote what the speaker does is count noses and say Ok I have this one I have that one and if you don't have the votes then the arms start twisting and the deals begin to be cut if you vote my way. Then you will get this it's a quid pro quo they really negotiate much like they did here and I'll talk a little bit about the negotiation here what the Ryan care had to give up in order to get people to jump on Republicans and then the granddaddy of negotiators is Donald Trump on to read on literally 2 bases number one he is the president it's that simple he is the president of states and that in and of itself makes him the most influential person not leader of the free world or any of that which is obviously important but in this time in this reference Congress he meets with Congress and for him going to Congress going to Capitol Hill is very unusual because what normally happens is he is East summons the congressmen or the senators to the Oval Office and then starts cutting deals and let's say it's going to be a while during the negotiation he invites members of Congress on Air Force One He joined me on the flight I'm going to Los Angeles we're going to go to Canada and at that point starts negotiating so you have these freshman Congressman who are invited aboard Air Force One where the president strong arms that Congressman let me tell you that's pretty effective stuff it takes a pretty powerful self actualize congress person to say no to the president of states No I'm not going to do it and then this but you're a member of the party you have to be a member of the team you're part of as we can't let the Democrats prevail the food aboard Air Force One is absolutely dynamite and I'm going to let you sit in the premier seat you get the 1st class among the 1st classes instead of the I mean I don't think I'm exaggerating with that because the number one invitation you can get is to fly on that airplane. And so it takes a Congressman a lot to say absolutely not well there are a whole lot of them that are saying absolutely not particularly the freedom caucus we used to be the Tea Party tell you one thing about these guys is they don't screw around talking last night to Marjorie as we're watching the news saying Look at that they're ruining America and they're horrible how can they stop people from having insurance they want people to die and I turned to her I said no no no they're as patriotic as anybody else they're no less patriotic than our Democrats it's just that their version of America great is different then a Democrats they believe the market system is America at its greatest and they believe that the socialist system if you want to go that far or the government being involved in people's business supporting people paying for things subsidizing people that's the worst thing to happen this country and then vice versa the Democrats say we have an obligation to take care of our people we have to subsidize medical care we have to you can't let people walk the streets we have to feed them we have to give them housing we have to make sure education is there we have to give him free college or subsidized college and. Go on and it goes on ad nauseum old people all kinds of program afterschool programs and what they're saying it's more important for us to do that the number one. Rich people pay reasonable taxes or you Republicans don't care about human beings just a different view of who cares and who doesn't care and how they care so the vote today. Here is the part that I absolutely love about this what makes it so interesting is most presidents would take the time now to realize they don't have a bill pullback the vote asks the speaker to pull back a vote and say Ok let's now start really negotiating and I'll start twisting arms and I'll start doing what I can using my bully pulpit instead Donald Trump said we're having a vote today and it's up or down it's a simple and yesterday he told members of Congress if you don't vote for this bill watch out for your congressional seat now that's no idle threat either because you know who controls the r n c The Republican National Committee and actually can say I want to attack that Congressman the president does that and can do that the president actually is the head of the party and if the president wants to go after a seat the president can go after a c. And when he said you watch it you don't vote my way so if you have someone that has a seat that is in jeopardy or may be contested We're talking out of the primaries now among other Republicans you to pay attention old boy to you know pay attention to that because you may lose your seat and what's the most important thing for any elected official to do more important anything more important than averting World War 3 more important than his entire district starving to death more important than anything to get reelected. That's a good get reelected and incidentally that is even legitimate to tell you why as horrible as it sounds because the argument is if I am not reelected I have no influence anymore I'm done and I am here is a public servant and I am here to represent my people in looking at the loss of society in this way and I lose all of my influence at that time so not only do I want to get reelected because I want to fly on the airplane if I have a chance but also I want to be here to do my duty and if you screw that up I'm done no president saying you know what my way you're done so 2 things there are 2 different people kinds of people that are voting for the president for or excuse me Republicans are voting against. Trump care and that is people who have safe congressional seats and it doesn't matter how much is spent on the other side they've been in that seat for 20 years they're not vulnerable no one's going to touch on a matter of fact most times they run unopposed so it's fery very difficult when the seat is sort of up in question that's a different issue and then Congress people particularly a freedom caucus who are a matter of not only policy but it's a matter of more reality that they believe that Obamacare must be replaced All right so here comes Ryan care and. What is it do we know it repeals it's no longer a mandate so anybody can either buy or not buy insurance under Obamacare if you didn't have the money to buy insurance the government would subsidize it would be a straight out subsidy depending on your income if the insurance but even if insurance premiums go up the government subsidizes it. It wasn't based on the number of people you have it wasn't based on your age it was simply based on money that's if you don't have the money will subsidize it and if prices go up we subsidize very different with Ryan care or Obamacare we're going to find out it's call Ryan Carol or excuse me very different between Ryan care or trump care because we're going to see what it's called by the end of the day if it loses its Ryan care if it wins if the vote passes it's Trump Care Trust me on that one and so there are no subsidies it's tax credits which to the fundamental Republicans are the same it's still the government giving you money it's just they just calling it a different it's a different term that's all like fees and taxes right there are $2.00 different things what difference to make if you have to pay a fee versus you pay a Tax same stuff. And so the Republicans fundamental Republicans are saying it's the same isn't it different though because isn't a subsidy we we have money over here giving you money right and isn't a tax credit we're going to let you keep more of the money you earned except when you are very poor the government will actually write you a check on a tax credit right yeah so it's not the 1st but in the other scout it is a they are different as my point is they're technically different but they're really the same because in the end is how much money you have to pay out how much when you keep the difference here is the tax credits are far less than the subsidies that's the problem so let And and there's no cap on what insurance can pay it's a market system free market system and there's no mandate which means the insurance companies can charge whatever the hell they want to charge and we're going to give you x. Dollars on a tax credit and we're going to do it on age the older you are the less you're going to get or the more you're going to get except if you're between 50 and 60 years old or 50 and 65 years old and you're screwed beyond screwed so one of the things that was because the uproar that was given to the new Bill Ryan care number 2 is it took care of the 50 to 60 year olds how do the numbers work well the only way numbers work is for insurance companies to either raise premiums which are going to do or simply not give services just say you know what here's what insurance covers It's like auto insurance the cheapest auto insurance you get is 1530 in California which is minimal liability according to law doesn't cover theft doesn't cover comprehensive doesn't cover everything so you're paying a premium for almost nothing except this one provision. And if you get good insurance but say with a loaded duct a bull and a cover staff and it covers all of it medical and covers rental car etc you're paying through the nose for that and that's exactly what is happening here is that under Ryan care to in order to get Republicans on board what the president and Ryan has have said Ok here's a sop we'll give you is we will take away all of these covered areas maternity care so the insurance companies can't don't have to cover maternity care and prenatal care and what pharmaceuticals. Drugs prescription drugs little ization right hospitalization here's the funny part hospitalizations not going to be required and ambulatory care i.e. When you don't have to go to the hospital also doesn't have to be covered and so what happened it does have to be under Obamacare yes if you're going to issue insurance if you can to sell a policy you must do this well under the new Ryan care bill that's when they just been negotiated they don't have to do that so it's a good argument to say your insurance rates will probably go down that's a hell of a sale without mentioning that your insurance you're not going to be able to submit insurance bills for hospitalizations or for drugs or for prenatal care or from into maternity care or preventative care all of it's gone all of it's gone but your rates have gone down of course rates are going to go down so and this is where I see the problem in the fundamental Republicans are absolutely right is that we're just juggling it really is Obamacare lite except with the mandate and the mandate is everything because the only way insurance works that covers everybody is to force covering everybody. You can't do that with forcing that without forcing the issue and that's a basic premise so you put all these numbers together and none of it works we'll see what happens and the president has said it's an up and down vote today it's that simple if we lose we lose this is like a showdown it's Ok it's old intern showdown they're playing chicken they're absolutely playing chicken so which way is it going to go right now it looks like it's in trouble and I don't know if Paul Ryan is in fact going to bring the vote to the house because he does not have to listen to the president if he doesn't want to the president has absolutely no say as to whether the bill comes to a vote on the on on the floor of the house he can suggest he's got a lot of power I mean he really does have a huge influence but he has no jurisdiction he cannot force the issue and now it's really a fight between Ryan and the president and the fundamentalists right wing Republicans it's a 3 way fight and we'll see who wins on that one because it will be an utter failure for Paul Ryan it will kill him politically if it doesn't pass if it doesn't pass if it does pass it's the president going to take all the credit for it as you said earlier rightly so all right so that's what's going on on this one we're going to see it today again is the vote going to happen I don't think so I don't think so because I think for Paul Ryan it's more important to not lose that fight and say we're still negotiating we're about to get this bill passed it is more important for us to pass this bill you mean if it takes another couple of weeks than it has for us to lose this no palm and Obamacare stays in place and if they do let's say they say look President Trump we're not going to succumb to your pressure to vote now. 2 weeks later 3 weeks later they come up with a compromise and they pass a bill does trump veto it was his and that in essence his threat if he said he'd pass this bill today or we're keeping Obamacare what that has to really mean is pass this bill today or any other bill later I will veto he hasn't said that because that's the only way that he hasn't said that Donald Trump can get the country to keep Obamacare is to veto it's plain any repeal becomes to him he's playing chicken he is not going to veto a bill that repeals Obamacare he can't so they could really just say we're not voting today we're not going to do it under this pressure we're going to go where I think that's Ok We're going to come out with a bill that can pass and then we're going to pass it and then the ball's in your court Mr President the only thing you could do is veto it absolutely Ok so let's go to another issue which is also in sanely explosive and important Fox News is reporting based on one source of course they do that based on Andrew. No You know that's not going to work in a politician Oh no I don't think so. Because he's been fired the politician is not going to be on Fox News talking about this anymore so he's done so now we have figure out who else is where they got the source from and so what has happened what's what are we talking about here and that is the smoking gun that t
