An unusual scene early this morning in san jose. Police officers with flashlights out walking in the middle of highway 101 between tully road and story road. Laugh night two c. H. P. Officers were on northbound 101 with a car stopped and a shot was fired. They saw a loud noise, heard a particular and after further investigation they discovered the patrol vehicle was struck. The officers and the driver was not hurt. Both directions of 101 between actually and story tully road and story road were closed. They are trying to determine if they came from a moving car or the surrounding neighborhood at 101 and tully road. Car stops in the middle of the night is a dangerous part of the c. H. P. Job.
