But as abc7 News Reporter sergio reports, talks broke off tonight and there is no new date set for the next meeting. The negotiating day ended with no deal made. Unions uh accused bart management of failing to address safety issues. We will not and cannot settle until our safety concerns not just for the workers, but for the riding public are addressed in a serious way. And bart management said the unions didnt like the raise that was offered. I think a 10 wage is more than fair to our employees, so i think we had a good confidence level in the offer we made. It is regrettable they chose not to accept it. They all walked away after spending two hours with the mediator. They all say no progress was made today. So everyone is in the cooling off period that was requested by governor jerry brown and ordered by a San Francisco superior court judge. Go ahead and sign what is in affect a final injunction lasting 60days. The bart trains will keep running and the negotiators will keep talking. Bart riders are hoping not to see a repeat of the standoff when the court order expires. It is great that the strike is not happening. They cant keep pushing things like that. The bart managers and the union say they do not see eye to eye on a deal. I think 10 is a fair increase and the system does need the investment as well. The teenager is safe thanks to four alert horseback riders in idaho. On wednesday they crossed paths with anderson and her abductor, james dimaggio. That something was very wrong, a suspicion confirmed by a tv news report one day later. The news flashed on. An amber alert was on the television and i told my wife, that is that girl we seen on the mountain. They called police. A possee of 200 Law Enforcement officers jumped into action. A plane spotted the fugitive and his kidnapped victim. They dropped from a blackhawk helicopter and hiked for more than two hours closing in on the suspect. The fbi will not say what happened next. Except that dimaggio was given every chance to surrender before he was shot. Hannah was safely rescued thanks to a group of outdooren enthusiasts who sensed she might be in danger. Five teenage boys were in the car that hit the tree just before midnight. 19yearold fabian perez died at the scene and 16yearold salvador fernandez died at the hospital and the three other teens are in critical condition. Because they are very tiny they have happened for thousands of years and they are a tiny little rock that will burn up in the atmosphere and the earth will be fine. Do did you see all the fog racing in . I will tell you the best location is away from city lights and mainly in the east bay and the north bay locations. You can see live doppler 7hd is showing you a wall of fog that has already starting to move inland near the coast as well as the bay and heading over toward oakland right now and Berkeley Hills and even southern marin county. So it is going to be a foggy start tomorrow as well. The east bay we are looking clear right now. Here is a look at some of our highs. A warming trend began today. We still had 50s at the coast and more warming tomorrow. We will take a look at those numbers coming up. Smoke jumpers are in action in the Tahoe National forest to help a brushfire that has grown to 800 acres. The fire is burning in a remote area from auburn to lake tahoe. Officials say flames are burning on steep terrain on deadwood ridge. The silver fire has burned more than 30 square miles in Riverside County since it broke out on wednesday. The fire is now 90 contained. 12 people including 11 firefighters have been hurt. The flames festroyed 26 homes and 22 other buildings in the san jacinto mountains. Crews believe they will have this fire fully contained in the Angeles National forest. Right now it is 75 contained. The sharp fire has burned 163 acres.
