Were tracking downpouring for sunday morning along with winds 20 to 30 Miles Per Hour. Gusts could be as high as 40 Miles Per Hour along the coast. The hunt for the shooter who murdered a prominent bay area attorney on the front porch of his home. Tonight we have been talking with neighbors who heard the fatal gunshots that killed james gillelan. He had just returned home from a social engagement on thursday night. It was just a few minutes before 9 p. M. A couple of his neighbors told us today they remember the moment they heard the gunshots. A bouquet of flowers is near the door of his home. Many in this quiet neighborhood are trying to decide why he was so brutally killed on his porch. Down the hill residents that share a back fence say theyre shocked at what happened. We heard two shots and then three rapid ones. I felt like they werent fireworks. It was specific. It was bang bang, bang bang bang. It was very quick. These two had just returned home for the night when they heard the gunshots. She immediately called 911. They say they have seen a suspicious vehicle near the street where he was shot, but they didnt think anything of it at the time. This black suv had been pulled over on the wrong side of the road with its lights on. It was parked the wrong direction. It was parked just in front of the fence. Theres no houses. James was recently named one of the best intellectual property lawyers in the country and one of the Board Members of a School Called roses and concrete. The founder says hes devastated. There are so many children and families and even teachers at the school that didnt even know jim, and wouldnt know him because hes so humble. The police say they hope the public can help with tips or information to find anyone connected to this crime. Abc 7 news. We learned tonight four Richmond Police officers will be fired for a sex scandal. The claims of having underage sex with Law Enforcement led to an investigation involving 11 officers. The original recommendation was to fire just one of the officers. Tonight its confirmed theyve decided to fire three more and reprimand five others. Tomorrow night, the case rocked local Law Enforcement agencies and she may not be the only one. We spend a friday night on international boulevard in oakland talking with some selfidentified sex workers who say having sex with cops for money is nothing new in the bay area. A teenage boy skateboarding was hit by an suv tonight. It happened at 2 2nd avenue in the sunset district. He had life threatening injuries. The driver of the suv stayed and cooperated with authorities. The race for the white house, Hillary Clinton demanded the fbi release the emailed that may or may not be connected to the investigation. As for the emails, clinton said it was strange timing for the foik to bring new life to the home server controversy days before the election. Voters deserve to get full and complete facts. They involved one of her top aids and appeared to be about what agents already knew. Four senators called on the fbi to release the information. Tonight in phoenix trump continued to push the idea that the election is rigged. And that message is coming across one of his supporters in minnesota was arrested for voting twice. She told a Radio Station that she did it because the polls are rigged. Donald trump says he gives a lot of money to charity. A new report shows he took credit for charity he hasnt given. The Washington Post called 420 charities connected to trump. They found he gave to just one of them. The report says he crashed an aids benefit and sat next to major donors when he hadnt given any money at the time. They discovered 70 of the donations went to his own trump foundation. They said he has personally donated tens of millions of dollars to charitable millions of dollars. He has not released his tax returns. Here in the bay area, Early Voting Centers have been busy. We were at the assessor county clerk where there was a steady flow of voters. The biggest reason for voting now . Its more convenient. Who knows whats going to happen on that tuesday. I work at a school. I am going to be there early. Im probably going to be there late. The county elections mayor say its easier to register online this year. We wered a the davidson courthouse. The south bay Haunted House hit hard by thieves was almost robbed again. We first told you about burnl scream yesterday. The family run Haunted House upped security after a break in on wednesday. It will shut down in about an hour and they still need 2500 people or so to come through here this weekend just to break even after the break in. This is the place to come in south san jose to get your scream on. The Haunted House is the brain child of abe and mike. They invested their life savings, 100,000 into this crazy, scary, halloween haunt. But the bouts of bad luck just keep oncoming. This clips and locks at the top and side. They came in and took all of that off. Reporter on wednesday thieves stole speakers, cables, and destroyed property. This morning they came back, but Security Guards scared them away. We have thousands of dollars in this show, and its sad that somebody is coming to take that from us. Were scared since there was a second attempt. They are upping security, but things still arent looking good. Ticket sales were already down and now recovering financially after the burglary, maybe too much. These pops of yellow on your screen are the heavier showers that develop within that line. By 10 00 in the morning its moving into the south bay, and then its out of here. By the afternoon widely isolated showers throughout the bay area. In terms of rainfall, since this is a quick moving system, were not talking high totals. I think a good estimate, between a quarter and half an inch of rain. Likely spots in the south bay below a quarter of an inch where the system kind of falls apart as it enters the south bay. As we look at the sierra, a winter storm warning. 6 to 12 inches of snow and even around lake level, we could see three inches of snow. Tonights Headlines Police want help in fighting the gunman who killed a lawyer. Police say James Gilliland was gilled on his porch. Four Richmond Police officers will be fired in connection with with asex scandal. They are connected to a prostitute who was under age for some sexual encounters. 11 officers have been fired or reprimanded. Thieves targeted a Haunted House for the second house. The father and son who ran it said someone stole equipment thursday and early this morning a Security Guard chased away a thief who was not arrested. Tonight 20 people were injured evacuating a plane at Ohare Airport after it caught fire yesterday. Investigators say it appears a disk failed. The engine shot out the large disk sending it flying through the roof of a ups warehouse. A third of a mile away. No one was hurt by that disk. The toxicology report that the Jose Fernandes had cocaine and alcohol in his system during a boat crash. His blood alcohol was nearly twice the legal limit. Two of his friends died when their boat hit a jetty off florida south beach. A sheriff said he was supposed to take a call that killed one of his deputies. It happened near the oregon border. The sheriff says the deputy was working in the courthouse when he vol teefred to respond to the call. He says he thinks the suspect intentionally fired at his deputy because he too got into a shootout with the man. It has been tough without one of his best deputies. How are you doing .
