Many travelers say they rely on their time in the air to use their laptops for work. 11our flight. I have to use it. Travelers flying in and out of the u. S. Might soon be banned from using Electronic Devices larger than a phone while in the air. Such devices would instead have to be placed in checked luggage. Homeland security secretary jon kelley suggested the possibility on fox news. Thats really the thing that theyre obsessed with, the terrorists. The idea of knocking down an airport in flight, particularly if its a u. S. Carrier, particularly if its full of mostly u. S. Folks. The government already imposed restrictions two months ago on large Electronic Devices in cabins from devices coming from ten middle east and african countries. Then earlier this month there was talk of bans on all flyings from europe. She says a laptop ban on International Flights into and out of u. S. Would change everything. This trip, it would have affected me a lot. Because i had a lot of work to do. And i wouldnt have been able to take the time off if i wasnt going to be able to work while on the flight. And some companies dont even allow employees to check their work laptops. If im traveling on business, i have to bring any laptop with me. So if that starts to happen, thats going to be a problem because i cant check into the hulls and i cant bring it in the cabin, so what do i do .
