The family of audrey potts says a loophole allowed the teenagers accused of the Sexual Assault of her daughter to get 35 days served on weekends in juvenile hall. The bill known as audreys law for the Saratoga High School student faces opposition going before assembly Public Safety Committee Tuesday morning. Several advocacy groups have sent letters to Committee Chair urging the bill voted down. One objection is the cost of the two years were talking about a price tag of about 250,000 a year. We think that, you know those resources would be better spent on educating youth and other options actually getting to the root of the problem.
