This is going to be new carpeting, cleanup work and all of the rotted wood on the walls. Reporter now ten years later, napa has reason to believe such a disaster wont happen again, and this is why. A recently completed Flood Control bypass right through the heart of town. Its built for the 100year flood part of an ongoing 600 million project. It will flow through this shortcut. Wanda bailey says a coworker called her the nword at the hall of justice. Bailey claims when she complained to the Human Resources manager, she was scolded. You could have just told a supervisor. Police in San Francisco are looking for two people who stole precious necklaces from a 90yearold tibetan woman. This happened on Christmas Day and was all caught by surveillance cameras. She left her native tibet 60 years ago. She had only two possessions, two necklaces that she always carries with her. They took everything she got. So she never leave it anywhere. San Francisco Police are investigating an accident between a truck and a muni lightrail vehicle today that injured five people including the muni driver. Initial reports say the truck made a left turn in front of the muni vehicle at third street and egbert avenue. Five people went to the hospital with neck and knee injuries. The chp is looking into an unusual singlecar accident on northbound interstate 880 in san leand leandro. The driver lost control and ran off the road at the Marina Boulevard exit. Witnesses say the car flew 30 feet in the air right off the embankment. The driver went to the hospital. No word on the extent of his injuries. Prosecutor susan badgers closing arguments took all morning and most of the afternoon meticulously explaining all the charges against Raymond Shrimp Boy Chow. Chow, 40 took the stand in his own defense, says hes innocent of racketeering, money laundering, trafficking, drugs, and two murders including the high profile killing in 2006 of allen liang. But badger told jurors chow is a ruthless opportunistic thug and that he was a shot caller of a criminal syndicate. Chow mein tans hes a changed man since he got out of prison in 2003 on previous racketeering and hes devoted his life to community work. To that the prosecutor said mr. The prosecution said chow has the most to benefit from liangs unsolved shooting death because he then took control of the organization. But chow meaintains his innocence. The group is armed and now occupying a Federal Building on a National Wildlife refuge for the Third Straight day. Brandi hitt tells us why theyre vowing to stay there for years. Reporter the fbi is now stepping in hoping for a peaceful ending to this tense oregon standoff where openly armed militiamen calling themselves citizens for constitutional freedom have taken over a federal wildlife refuge led by ammon bundy. Because weve allowed our federal government to step outside the bounds of the constitution, theyre coming down into the state and taking over the land and the resources.
