Everything is coming up roses for the second largest wholesale flower market in the country. The Development Company which already owns the flower mart announced today it also bought a twoacre site next door. Now owns seven acres between fifth and sixth streets. Flower vendors battled a year and a half ago when kilroy bought the property and considered putting the flower business underground. Thats no longer on the drawing board. These are artist renderings were going to show you of what the new flower mart will look like. Vendors are excited that the new layout includes easier access for delivery trucks.
