Concord Police Arrested the dental assistant after one girl accused him. Detectives now say saro abuse at least four girls and videotaped them as well. Today in San Francisco federal court, volkswagen and the government finally agreed on a plan to compensate owners of diesel cars that dont meet emission standards. The automaker had admitted to rigging some cars to beat the smog tests. Heres Leslie Brinkley on the deal and what those vw owners can now expect. Reporter u. S. District court judge Charles Breyer announced an aggressive plan thats finally been agreed upon to reimburse drivers who own supposedly clean diesel cars fitted with software that had cheated emission tests. Those who leased their car will be able to walk away. But there were no specific dollar amtz.
