San Francisco Police officer kevin downs has been shifted from the hospital to a physical therapy facility. Downs was shot in the head and partially paralyzed last friday. His family issued a Statement Today saying kevin is determined through intense physical therapy to walk again and ultimately return to full duty as a san Francisco Police officer. Downs was shot when responding to reports of a mentally ill man who is making threats hat the lake shore shopping center. 26yearold nicholas mcwerder was armed with a revolver, opened fire on officers and was later killed in a shootout with police.
