Reporter Officials Say since the water levels in the lake have decreased, they believe the dam will be able to withstand more storms expected to start tomorrow. Of course, as you can imagine, its a big sigh of relief for people who live here. We have been told that the streets are now crowded. Once again, we saw when the Evacuation Order was put in place traffic for miles of people trying to get out of here. Were now told its in the opposite direction with people trying to get back home. Danya bacchus, thank you so much for that live report. All of this began last tuesday when engineers first found the massive hole in the main spillway. By wednesday that hole was as big as a football field. You see right there. On saturday morning, water began flowing over the emergency spillway for the first time in its nearly 50year history. On sunday, erosion on the emergency spillway prompted evacuations for several downstream communities and as you know, that mandatory evacuation was lifted as of 1 00 this afternoon. Were getting a new look at some of the work being done to fix the oroville dam. The chp released video. The rocks were spread by a bulldozer and covered with cement. More local First Responders are helping evacuees in one county. Check out this picture tweeted by the red cross. They packed up cots, blankets and toiletries to be delivered to the fairgrounds. There were bright spots for some of the evacuees. Chp officers helped a 3yearold boy celebrate his birthday yesterday. This moment was broadcast an facebook live. You can hear them singing happy birthday to him. They gave him a cake, paper crown and a balloon and a couple gifts. The move back home is great for the oroville residents. There are going to be three storms, one thursday, a couple more friday and monday. After the three storms, the rainfall total potential is up to about 3 inches in the oroville area, which, of course, could increase will increase the concerns of flooding. Meanwhile in the bay area, that thursday storm ranks one on the impact scale. A storm of light intensity. It could produce brief downpours. It means problems for commuters. Chp officers staked out multiple areas over several weeks. They say they found no evidence of anyone throwing anything on to the highway. When investigators looked down, they found something else. Just within the last 45 minutes, a couple of bomb squad robots took the box apart. No word from the santa clara Sheriffs Department on what was inside. Deputies say when they ran the package through an xray machine, they found what looked like wires and a dense metal object. The building was cleared out as a precaution. The package was sent by someone involved in an Ongoing Court case. San Francisco City attorney suing a long time massage parlor in the heart of the financial district claiming its a brothel. The owner who did not want to go on camera told us in chinese that its simply a massage parlor. That she has a legitimate license. All of her masseuses are also licensed. By the way, this is the first time that the city in recent memory has tried to close an alleged brothel by using the states red light abatement law. When people go to a massage parlor, what do they really expect . I think they expect to have a massage and probably thats about it. Reporter well, according to the City Attorney, thats not what happens here at the Queens Health center. They have been going around the law for years. Theyre well aware its illegal. The Queens Health center is a massage parlor on the 300 block of kearney. A busy street with popular lunchtime eateries. The City Attorney filed this lawsuit claiming that its really a brothel. The suit says for at least six years the city has cited Queens Health center with multiple fines for violating health codes and other laws. Theyve even had their operating permit revoked and suspended for 60 days, yet theyve continued to thumb their nose at the law. Reporter there have been Numerous Police undercover operations here. Police investigators found individuals engaging in sex. They interviewed multiple patrons of this particular business who indicated that they were there to pay for sex. Reporter investigators also say they found an elaborate Warning System in the parlor in case of raids. If inspectors or police were coming lights would be turned on. Last week a federal judge blocked the deal over concerns about how it would affect prices and consumer choice. They were attempting to appeal the decision. Folks wondering about the mystery objects. It turns out, there were two. And they were missiles launched off the california coast. Heres video. These are trident two missiles launched by the u. S. Navy from an ohio class submarine on the pacific test range off the coast of california. The first one was 3 30 pacific time in the morning. The second one around 6 20 local time. I got ahold of a spokesman for the navy who confirmed the missile test and reassured me it was safe. We conducted them from the sea, the missile flew over the sea and landed in the sea. At no time did they fly over land. Apart from the videos, we also got calls from abc viewers in palo alto and san jose saying they could see it and we had reports of people south of los angeles who sighted the missiles. The navy tells me the light was probably advice i believe for one minute during stage one of each launch. They are used for defense and they have a range of 4,000 mielgs. Its unclear how far off the coast the missile test submarine was located. The navy refused to disclose that information. The tests had been planned for years. Jessica castro, abc 7 news.
