Santa clara county making more shelter beds available to protect the homeless from the cold. The armory winter shelter providing 150 more beds than usual now. Reporter hi, natasha. The fire is out, but firefighters are still very busy here. They havent pulled that ladder down yet. Theyre still in the building making sure they got it all. This is a three story Apartment Building on harrison street in oakland. Two minor injuries. No one was taken to the hospital. So, everyone is okay. This was a threealarm fire. They did evacuate the building. They dont know how many people have been displaced. Theyre still working on figuring that out right now. Firefighters did go door to door to try to get people out of the building, but they say by the time they got here, most people had safely evacuated so they didnt have to do any dramatic rescues.
