As first reported by our partners at hoodline, organizers say the protests will target racist and exclusionary executive orders. Thats a quote. President trump signed the order last friday, banning travel from seven predominantly muslim countries into the u. S. This is video from last weeks protest at sfo. Nearly 10,000 people say they will attend the protest. They plan to gather at 3 00 at civic center plaza. A celebrations in confusion this morning after a federal judge blocked President Trumps travel ban. The decision means visa holders from those seven countries can fly to the u. S. Once again. Airlines have been given the goahead to let those travelers take off. A federal judge in washington issued a temporary restraining order blocking the order after that states attorney general filed a request, calling the ban harmful to States Residents and economies. The law is a powerful thing. It has the ability to hold everybody accountable to it, and that includes the president of the united states. White House Press Secretary sean spicer issued this statement, saying, at the earliest possible time, the department of justice intends to file an emergency stay of this order and defend the executive order of the president which we believe is lawful and appropriate. Police say the man opened the front door of the cheesecake factory, lit the device and tossed it inside.
