This fire which started saturday is just 5 contained. Its burning through steep and inaccessible terrain and residents in some areas are under mandatory evacuation orders. A wild Fire Strike Team that left San Francisco this morning has arrived to battle that fire. The sixmember crew from San Francisco will be joined by strike teams from four other Northern California cities. One of them is palo alto. Firefighters will be on the job by tonight. People in the Northern California town of weed are assessing the damage there. The fire isnt the largest fire but the impact on the town is enormous. Abc 7 News Reporter Wayne Freedman has the story. The faceoff between facebook and some members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, Transgender Community has not been resolved in spite of a meeting today. The social media giant wants users to use real names on the site but critics say thats not always safe. Carolyn tyler joins us from city hall in San Francisco. Reporter facebook now says it will reactivate the account of lgbt users, hundreds of them they locked out citing safety concerns. We talked to critics here at city hall today and they said that this really does nothing to change a policy they feel is misguided and dangerous. Drag queens are a tradition in San Francisco but some say facebook is making them disappear. I have been edwina for 20 years and i have facebook telling me i do not exist. They are basically wiping you out of existence. Reporter she and others say about a week ago facebook began insisting everyone use legal names to access their accounts. Supervisor david campos and members of the Lgbt Community arrived at facebook for a meeting this morning but came away disappointed. At a minimum if we are going to Work Together on this, we want an acknowledgment that this policy is misguided in that it is harming people. Police say the driver then shot the man, then drove closer and shot him again before driving away. The pedestrian survived his injuries. The Company Plans to hire 50,000 veterans as drivers over the next 18 months and former secretary of defense robert gates has signed on to be volunteer chairman of the project.
