Now, the city says it cant respond because this is a personnel issue as well as a legal action, and as you know a claim is a precursor to a lawsuit. This is the top cop award that i wanted in 2001. The owner of this building, an unfinished apartment complex that went up in flames monday is the object of a lawsuit by several tenants who were evicted from the property two years ago to make room for this now gutted project. At the time the plaintiffs in this lawsuit lived in this home owned by ethan magganas and hillary was one of the tennants. Just trying to force us out of our home, making up things, starting construction while we were still living here. Reporter last year the tennants filed a lawsuit alle alleging magganas used aggressive and illegal efforts to erect him and then starting to demolish the home while they were still in it. The opponents including those who work in adult films say the measure is misguided. Aerial x is a performer and producer who is adamantly opposed to prop 60. It would require performers to wear condoms, producers to pay for more medical exams and allow people who watch porn to sue if they dont see condoms being used. This puts a bounty on our head. Reporter she and others say the industry already has strict measures in place to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted disease. In fact, cal osha recently decided against implementing moe guidelines. This bill does nothing to advance. Its actually taking us back a couple of steps. We have great testing protocols. As a result thousands of young men and women are illegally and routinely exposed to sexually transmitted diseases, including hiv.
