He was working undercover vetting another shooting when he was confronted by three armed men. Police say he was shot in the arm. They were able to arrest one suspect. The other two suspects got away. Police are still looking on them but they need help. We want to ask the community to continue to be vigilant. Please contact the Oakland Police department nonemergency number reporting suspicious activists involving two individuals from the area. The chief says that investigators do not know if the officer fired his gun in the confrontation. The officer was working undercover.
